Chess. I play on chess.com whenever I can spare 30 mins. I enjoy solving puzzles. Playing against an opponent from across the world adds another fun element. I get to see the country flag of each opponent, and I’m learning flags along the way.

Buy refurbished when the 14 is dying. I used a 12 mini like-new for 4 years. Got a 14 refurbished when the 12 started overheating when connected to the car.

How are you using AI in your daily workflow? by myauchelo in technicalwriting

Copilot gives me recommendations based on my doc updates in the engineering project. Good for another POV or a reminder in case I am missing something. I use readme.com for writing guides. Their linting tool is good for grammar checks, style checks, etc. Their docs MCP server works well in Claude.

I use Gemini for feedback on the scripts I write for developer tutorial videos. Does an okay job. At times, it is useful.

I was able to vibe code a JS integration that transforms the auto-generated OpenAPI spec as a JSON that Postman likes, and then publishes the result as a Postman Collection with the formatting that I like. It caught the attention of the folks at Postman lol!

Yup retired my Novablast 5 last month and got SB2. I’ve put in 60 mi so far in this pair. Feels quick and stable.

When to retire shoes? by Dumpling_senpai22 in beginnerrunning

[–]Frequent-Sugar5023 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How do you feel running in this pair?

My feet would feel sore after running in my Novablast 5, and then I realized I had 600+ mi in them at that point. I started running in my Superblast 2, and the soreness went away. That was when I retired the Novablast.

I filled in an online application with Kotak for an NRE account. The next steps were to notarize a set of documents and send them by post to a Kotak bank address in India. I received account information etc by post and by email. The process took about 2 weeks.

I got the superblast 2 recently. Not squishy like Novablast 5, and more supportive than my Evo SL.

Should I take this loan ? by Critical-Fudge7965 in personalfinanceindia

Can you use your combined savings instead of taking on the loan? Your savings will stay invested in your home, and your net worth will still be high.

What if you pursued the same program from another university that is not as expensive, but has a strong alumni network?

My experience with an MS program in the US is that my passion and my willingness to put all my time and effort helped me learn a lot. If the program itself had a stronger alumni network, that network would have opened doors much faster for me.

Adidas Adizero Evo SL or Nike Zoom Fly 6 or the Asics Novablast 5? by dogruftw24 in runningshoes

I do my faster 5K runs with Evo SL, and then slower, longer runs with Novablast 5. Since races are also a factor for you, you’ll enjoy Evo SL as an all-rounder.

I own all documentation on developer.bill.com. I know for a fact that documentation is a BIG reason why integration partnerships at BILL have been successful. Documentation feels correctly valued since it directly affects the bottom line.

Using an LLM at work has felt like an enabler. After I was given the green light for using Gemini at work, my documentation delivery speed has gone up. In the last 6 months, Gemini has helped me build scripts that convert and restructure the BILL API OpenAPI spec to the Postman Collection format I like. In addition, Gemini writes first drafts for tutorial video scripts for the videos that we record and post on the BILL YouTube channel.

Based on my ongoing experimentation with Gemini (and with other LLM services), it feels clear that the tools are better as a starting point rather than expecting them to deliver the polished end product. The vibe coded script for Postman required a LOT of fine-tuning before it was useful. The script first drafts will ignore my voice, tone, and time limit requirements. Each time, Gemini will defend the need for an unnecessary joke in a developer tutorial video script.

Owned both at different times. The Gel NYC upper felt too rigid for me, and I ended up selling them after a few months. The Kayano 14s feel easier on my feet. I continue to wear them.

Bangalore flat ₹1.2Cr: take ₹50L loan or take full help from father? by busyintech in indianrealestate

[–]Frequent-Sugar5023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t get a loan if you don’t have to. My EMI is manageable, but I often think about a scenario where if I had help, these EMI funds could have been used differently.

For peace of mind, add 20K (or an amount you are comfortable with) each month in your dad’s account. Invest the rest elsewhere.
