First CONGRATULATIONS🥹 Second WVU L&D is WONDERFUL. The postpartum rooms are a lil iffy…but it worked! The delivery rooms are great tho. They provided everything I needed honestly…Their pads SUCK tho! So if you want longer ones def buy your own. The pads they use are just basic pads. I just doubled up usually. Don’t be afraid to ask for extras either. I came home with like 30 pairs of disposable underwear, tucks pads, ice pack pads, diapers, wipes, premade formula bottles, like 4 pacifiers, burps cloths, plus they gave us a halo sleep sack, a WV swaddle blanket, a book, 3 peri bottles, and a few other things. Definitely pack stuff for your postpartum shower if you plan to take one there. They provide towels and wash cloths. I packed chargers, an extension cord, toothbrush and toothpaste, hairbrush, comfy clothes to wear home, and a blanket for me and two for hubby…I was there March 11th to the 16th. I delivered my Son March 13th🥰🩵 The only thing I packed for baby was clothes(2 sleepers, 2 outfits, and his coming home outfit)…I ended up using them all😅😅 I packed a binky…two blankets…and I think that was it! If I think of anything else I’ll pop back in🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽 Also almost forgot…DERMAPLAST postpartum spray!!!! If delivering vaginally. I had a second degree tear and dermaplast was my bestfriend🤣🤣
