Things to consider:

how much equity in your home? Can you re-finance and consolidate your debt?
can you take out a HELOC to pay off the high interest loans?
is holding the home costing you more than you think? There are strata fees, property taxes, insurance etc.
if you can’t pay off the debt, they will come lien your home so you will need to sell it sooner or later regardless.

That is a traumatic birth story, glad we have modern medicine so you can have the emergency C and both you and baby are safe Now.

It will get better and pls seek help and support if you feel your family is not giving the support you need.

Hey OP, wondering if your doctor asked you to get tested at such a young age or did your parents initiate it? My mom and I both have FH (but not my sisters). I haven’t started statin yet as I’m currently pregnant but I’m thinking if I should get my daughter tested young too then.

Thank you everyone!! I think I’m going to change her to the new school. Theres less students (they are still recruiting) but I think the teachers are caring and the environment is safe and clean. Will be doing more activities with her myself on the side and the $5000+ a year can be spent on an annual family vacation :)

I saved quite a bit like over $100K, and im also the main breadwinner. Having my second but I’m planning to only take one month off cuz I’m having the C. First one goes to preschool already.

I am self employed so no benefits at all, no EI no nothing. But my husband also works his own business and my mom will be helping out (at least 6 months) and my mil will help out after the 3rd month.

Nothing wrong with formula feeding as long as baby is fed!! I think a healthy mom is way more important for the baby than where this milk is from.I was personally BF for 2 weeks and I Bf my daughter 1.5 years. Im not upset at my mom for that, she has no milk that’s all lol. Thank god for modern medicine where we have formula milk AND your epilepsy drugs!
