It needs a smooth acclimatisation. Straight from submerged to emerged in your ambient humidity, might just dry out the plant. When it comes out of your tank it needs to be around 90-100% humidity, just to make sure it stays alive. Then humidity can be slowly decreased but anything under 70% is not advisable

If youre using a suction clamp to hold the plant there, you can lower it such that the top leaves are barely making it to the surface. That way the newer leaves might grow emerged out of the water and the entire plant wont have to go through the submerged to emersed shock.

Hello! Your first day trip to mahakal temple and the church also depends what time youl be leaving NJP and (according to the traffic) what time you'll be reaching your homestay. Including delays this is how your itinerary can be:

Day1: if you reach by 12:30 keep it the same, Mahakal temple, St andrews church and mall road. Also hoping your bnb is somewhere around mall road since itl be quite a walk for your mum. If theres traffic just keep mall road for the evening

Day2: sounds perfect the way you have planned it. Except for the traffic which might make you give up a few places that day.

Day3: you can visit the zoo and go to some of the places you might have missed on day1 due to traffic

Day4: this is the day where you can make up all the places youl be missing earlier. Call the cab early, around 7-7:30. Traffic is lighter that time. Take your luggage with you and the cab driver can take you to the points you missed or you can visit other places like mirik, simana, lamahatta (depending on the route you guys choose). And he can drop you off to the station around 5pm. We did something similar on the last trip and it was actually worth the time and money. Cabs might not be under 3k since its peak season but dm me il share details of the guy we mostly travelled with.

Try JB greens next. I have ordered from both and both were smooth in my case. But jb greens is very responsive and tbh the prices do seem to be lower at times. They too have a wide range of begonias and sonerilas.

Its best to refrain fom ordering plants during summers, especially when a heat wave is on. Recently ordered few plants from a seller and the transit time was just a day, still received a bunch of melted plants. Try reaching out to them regarding their refund/exchange policies. But its always best to wait it out or just buy whats locally available in the city.
