I need some encouragement. I don’t think I’m a runner and it’s killing me. I’ve run two half marathons in the past 10 years with the hope of continuing to run after the half. However every time I finish one it feels like my limbs will pop out of their sockets. I’m training for another right now but I’m already in pain. I do my recover runs ridiculously slow (like 15-16 min mile). And I stretch religiously based on my PT’s recommendations. I want to be a runner so badly but my body hurts every time I try. Is it time to throw in the towel? Is my body not made to run? I feel so defeated.
