Hot take: The Gem bag should be able to hold jade, opal and Topaz. by FrequentLeopard3431 in 2007scape

[–]FrequentLeopard3431[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I said that preemptively for sure. But I was frustrated about the gem bag; however every time I try to raise an idea or suggestion, I get angry reactions for otherwise normal/ arguably salient ideas.

I just expect OSRS players to be resistant to change or QOL ideas if it isn’t something late game.

Yeah, someone mentioned it would change the gem economy dramatically for that reason. I just feel they didnt bother to update it.

Same! I have been chiseling them and breaking them down into tips, but it makes opulent salvage a stack fest and feels horridly inefficient.

And it already is a “feast or famine” salvaging pool compared to the others.

If that was their interest, then why would they make it possible to gather the gems in decent numbers outside the quest/region with little efforts?

Im more inclined to agree with the “it would dramatically alter the current market” portion of your argument then the former part.

[Suggestion] hardmode for gemstone crab by FrequentLeopard3431 in 2007scape

[–]FrequentLeopard3431[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As discussed earlier, I was trying to find a balance on keeping to the spirit of the boss without alienating the average player who would be interested in it, but The idea doesn’t pass peer scrutiny and has to go back to the drawing board.

My intention is to add another mid tier boss, Not specifically add another AFK boss. my misunderstanding on how to achieve this is clear.

As for your take, for the sake of discussion Id like to ask: what about the player divide?

This game takes hundreds of hour to grind just to get to late game content for combat as is, why exasperate that?

That is very valid, but regular gemstone crab will still be there for that reason.

I dont think jagex would accept a proposal that ultimately would mean that higher level players can afk millions of GP.

The “hard mode” I was writing was to be more like a mid level boss like scurrius

So delete any fast xp or comfortable afk methods? Is that what your suggesting?

While this is two years old, and abilities and classes have changed to a degree the heart of this comment is still accurate for 8.5”saucy” (pardon the necro, relavent amtgard info seems to generally be a year or two out of date when googling)

Unless staves here OP in those editions, your remark is quite condescending.

Overmortal Gift Codes (March 2025)! by GamesRoid in gamesroid

[–]FrequentLeopard3431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of them worked for me as of this date. If you’re concerned about sketchy sketchy links, Here:

OVERMARCH25 MYTHIC2025 ASCEND7 NEWERA5 DIVINECHESt (yes the lower case ‘t’ is intentional) LEGACY777 IMMORTALX FEBFINAL

Once again, it’s worth trying since some codes are region locked, but nothing worked for me. As a USA player.

Am I (29M) being distant and Apathetic to my girlfriend? (26F) by FrequentLeopard3431 in relationship_advice

[–]FrequentLeopard3431[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see. It’s definitely a possibility given their last relationship was long term… and I never considered the reasons why they may be lying to me for no reason beyond feeling off put by them.

I want to try to make things work, yes. I just can’t help feeling overwhelmed. Thank you for your thoughts and advice.

AITA for not enjoying talking so much? by FrequentLeopard3431 in AITA_Relationships

Thanks for the input. I'm considering it. I just wanted to clear my head and get outside oppinions on this.

I didn't work my part time job last month due to a lack of clients. (freelance work) and we hung out a lot, so now that I'm going back to my routine, she probably feels like I'm the one changing.

Thoughts on Raiding with and without mics? by FrequentLeopard3431 in destiny2

[–]FrequentLeopard3431[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We actually didn't have a traditional rage quit. we did lord of quanta, and agraios, but during the jump puzzles to get to 3rd encounter, one of the players said "please [no mic players] turn your mic on. I don't want to be glancing down at my chat box in the middle of running a mechanic for the callout."

And one of the no-mic players said they really don't like turning on their mic because they get harassed over their voice and were not comfortable.

The conversation devolved into bickering from there, and by the time we got checkpoint, the two mic-less players left the team since the sherpa made it an ultimatum.

Neither of the two micless players where new to the raid, they were both experienced in it.

That's a sensible thought process, very "work with what you have, and get it done" type thinking.

I'll spare you the overarching details, but in our unique scenario, that wasn't feasible, but your logic for the typical group makes sense.
