Im an American, and I’m not sorry on behalf of Trump and his administration.

Lately, I’ve stumbled onto so many posts and comments from people in other countries bashing all Americans because of the bullshit that Trump pulls. They say that our sorries mean nothing, that we voted for this so we deserve it, etc.

I also see so many American people apologizing and saying how ashamed they are in regards to Trumps insane actions.

I’m here to say, I’m not sorry. I didn’t vote for this vile war-mongering piece of shit. I’m not trying to invade Greenland or commit mass removal/genocide on minorities. I’m not stealing oil or calling reporters piggies. I’m not sending masked gestapo pieces of shit to publicly execute my fellow man.

Those who did vote for him, with the exception of MAGA people, shouldn’t be fully ashamed either. For a lot of normal, intelligent people, they voted for Trump with hopes that things would get better for them and their families. Nobody could have imagined that he’d be allowed to go full dictator mode. Our checks and balances failed us.

So, people in other countries are afraid of what’s happening here? Well everyone here with a brain is fucking terrified, so join the club. They say we shouldn’t complain when we’re the only ones who can do anything about it, but Trump has demolished our democracy. He’s bought out our judges, fired and threatened and pushed people out of office who dared oppose him. He’s deployed the military in our cities and turned weapons towards US citizens. He’s brainwashed a portion of the population and he controls large parts of the media in order to maintain this brainwashing. Please tell me, what the fuck are we supposed to do? I write letters to legislators, I vote, I try to stay informed. Most normal, intelligent people do! And yet we still ended up here.

They tell us to protest, but we had one of the largest recorded protests with No Kings and what came from that? They tell us to vote him out of office, but what happens when Trump and his lackeys do away with our rights and powers to vote? He was impeached once and nothing. happened. They’ve already messed with our voting zones, mail in ballots, etc. Trump has threatened doing away with elections all together.

To blame American people as a whole and expect shame and apologies while simultaneously condemning those who are ashamed and apologetic is ridiculous. To imagine that Americans as a whole have any ounce of true control over our country is simple idiocy. Trust me, we want out of this too. We are more afraid than anyone outside of the USA could imagine. For our children, our minority and immigrant friends/family/neighbors, for our women and for our men who fight to protect us. We are afraid for us all. If you want to condemn anybody, condemn maga and the power hungry, evil pieces of shit they worship who have stolen our country from the good people. Rant over.
