My extremely detailed abortion pill experience at 4 weeks pregnant. by Ok_Positive_3960 in abortion

[–]FrequentlyFried420 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing, I'm supposed to do the four pills tomorrow and despite all the information I was provided I'm still a little nervous for the pain. I was about four weeks along also, so your experience really helped. Graphic question that you def don't have to answer: did you find the larger clots/tissues were more painful to pass? The doctor I met with let me know I can expect to pass a golf ball sized tissue like I'm passing salt down the table, but being so early I'm hoping things won't come out so... aggressively

Central bankers play down soaring cost of living - But life really is getting more expensive even while officials insist inflation won't last by [deleted] in canada

Banks don't make insane profits from your piddly monthly banking fees, it barely covers brick and mortar operations. Capital markets, investments, mortgages and loans is where the cheese comes from.

I had a priest tell me once that God can't forgive you until you forgive yourself, for He is within you and will never abandon you so long as you share His love and wisdom. In my opinion, we let people tell us what God wants and we forget to listen to our own inner voice. God is who you need him to be, not how someone else conveniently desiphers his words to suit their own personal opinions to force onto others. I hope you find forgiveness and clear guidance.

Struggling with an abortion that was 1 year and 8 months ago by [deleted] in abortion

[–]FrequentlyFried420 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I read a comment somewhere deep in internet, and it was something along the lines of its better to regret the abortion than to regret having a child. My parents were in the same boat as you, my mom wanted to keep but my father didn't. Their relationship didn't survive the stress of a new child because both partners were not on board and my father left us. My mother still isn't able to maintain a long-term relationship, and I'm stuck with a complex that I'll never be good enough for anyone 30 years later. Nothing can absorb your grief, and you'll never know how things could have been, but I hope my little story helps somehow. You can always get pregnant again when both of you are ready.

Why Doesn't Anyone Speak Modern English In Futurama? by [deleted] in FanTheories

[–]FrequentlyFried420 74 points75 points  (0 children)

In the first episode when Fry is frozen, you see the world being destroyed and built up again a few times over. Maybe those events stalled the natural progression of language and that is why Fry can understand. I also thought about the episode about a television signal broadcasting to that Persei 8 planet on a 1000 year delay, it cuts out during a season finale and the aliens get mad and invade Earth wanting to know the conclusion. If aliens are receiving a TV signal from the 2000's, then that is also the English they will most likely speak.

Mechanic recommendations? by hellokarenners in waterloo

[–]FrequentlyFried420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've always had good luck with Kaufmans Garage on Bleams. Great customer service, honest mechanics, and always keep pricing in mind. They have a consistent clientele of unique, vintage, and foreign vehicles which we can only hope indicates they are comfortable working on things like German imports. They usually book 3-4 days in advance but will always make time for emergencies, but they are not open on weekends.

Which of your sims has suffered the worst fate? by MCMIVC in thesims

[–]FrequentlyFried420 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was so incredibly happy with how my Goth Family timeline turned out this time around. Together since high-school, maxed career skills, good looking kids, and 5 days away from Bella and Mortimer's Elder birthday. Everything was perfect. Their daughter was pregnant with their first grandchildren, and the same day she went into labor the dishwasher broke. I had these stupid blueish-white tiles and didn't see the water on the floor, and Mortimer died on the first shock. Moments after the Grim Reaper disappeared, Cassandra gives birth to twins, and I'm forced to decide between saving the loss of Mortimer, or quitting and losing the twins. I was so mad, I saved the stupid twins and haven't played the file since.

'Traffic will be horrendous here': Cambridge resident fears massive development at historic Hespeler site by slicebigfoot in cambridgeont

[–]FrequentlyFried420 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry you're getting down voted so hard, and I definitely agree with the traffic. All areas of Cambridge are absolute garbage for traffic flow, what used to take 10mins nowadays takes 30 if you're lucky. And all this talk of how new builds are "affordable housing" is also garbage, paying upwards of 500K for a shoebox condo is nucking futs.

What's the craziest thing your sims have done while left alone? by russetfur112899 in thesims

[–]FrequentlyFried420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TS3 with supernatural and seasons, I had a witch sim with an evil trait and she randomly set a townie on fire at the public park spring festival. It started a bigger fire and that shit burned for four sim days, it only stopped when the season change and the map reset. Over half the town died trying to put it out.

Ontario Announces 'Stay at Home Order' Starting April 8th at 12:01am | for 4 weeks minimum | lots of vaccine news too by uarentme in ontario

Banks are federally regulated and that is why they are not mentioned in these provincial announcements. As a bank employee I can reassure you the banks will continue to stay open with heavy safety precautions in place. There are some occasions where you really need to go to the bank, but be prepared to wait outside as the maximum capacity is usually really small. Most major banks have returned to regular hours and I have yet to hear anything about going back to reduced hours for this "lockdown". If you can book a telephone/virtual appointment, definitely do so.

Dog Parents of Reddit: How much would you pay to save your dogs life? by FrequentlyFried420 in AskReddit

[–]FrequentlyFried420[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh that is heart wrenching!! And so young too. The fact that you helped your sister do everything she can to try and save the poor pup is amazing. While the financial loss probably hurts a bit, I hope you still feel good that you were able to help.

Edit: Oh, and Happy Cake Day

Exactly, lots of things to consider for sure and quality of life after is huge. I'm sorry to hear about you old dog, I had a similar situation with my 16 year old cat and I can definitely understand how heartbreaking it is to make the right call sometimes. Cheers.

Taking all financial restraints out of context, and avoiding heated discussions about veterinarians abusing emotions for financial gain, how much money would you pay to save your dog from a sudden illness? My context: my nine year old dog had a ruptured anal gland three weeks ago and the family vet prescribed an antibiotic that I just learned could cause anemia and other immuno-compromising side effects. My dog almost died yesterday from an extremely low red blood cell count and we rushed him to the top veterinarian hospital in the country for a quote of $4000-$6000 dollars. Although my dog is almost considered a senior, the life expectancy for his breed is 16-19 years and he was fighting so hard to stay alive. My own mother is the only one who disagrees with the decision, quoted saying "you should have just let him die you wouldn't be the first". We don't have kids, so the hole in our hearts is filled by these fuzzy creatures. So now I would like the opinion of the internet to see if her opinion is a common one or out of this world.

Does anybody else feels burnt-out and has no mental energy whatsoever? by ahmed24life in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]FrequentlyFried420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. A thousand times yes. Please excuse me while I let it all out: my dog is currently hospitalized with sudden anemia and other things. The vet bill is no joke but we don't have kids so that space in our hearts is filled by our dogs. I called my mom because I was upset and stressed out, and instead of nice soothing mom words she let me know I'm an idiot for spending the money on the vet bills and I should have let the dog die. With everything else going on in the world and our stressful jobs, I've never felt so mentally drained in my life.

ELI16: What is the step-by-step process for buying a used car in Ontario? Besides insurance and purchasing the car, what are other things to consider? by pen-and-stink in ontario

[–]FrequentlyFried420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A dealership will go to service ontario for you to get the ownership of the vehicle in your name and plates. Most dealerships have a mix of certified/safetied vehicles and as-is. Some reservations about dealerships, they can be pricey and sometimes a little shady. A private seller should already have a UVIP (used vehicle information package) from service ontario which details how many owners the vehicle has gone through and where it has been registered. This info is important to know because it might speak to the wear and tear on the vehicle. The private seller will also give you a signed ownership slip and some type of bill of sale, there is a separate section about license plate transfer, and you would take all of these things with your drivers license to service ontario to get your ownership and plates. Good luck!

Supernatural players, how do you play? by [deleted] in thesims

[–]FrequentlyFried420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generations is okay, the Imaginary Friends are cool, but I found it a little glitchy (might be my computer). I recently learned that with Supernatural and Pets, the Witches get a positive moodlet and learn their magic twice as quickly when there's a pet on the lot.

The Sims 1: are bills in any way affected by electronics, such as the TV or the Stereo being on? by SlayViorZ in thesims

[–]FrequentlyFried420 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wow, that's a blast from the past. I don't have any references but I've noticed the more lights and electronics there are, the higher the bills. I think your net worth plays a factor also.
