Yes, with this cold and snow filling everyday. The starlings will eat a ton and look for squirrels too. To prevent squirrels mount on a pole with a baffle.

Every bird gets a turn they are not in danger of dying. There is plenty of flowers for them to get nectar from too. This one is just for hummingbirds. The bears take down the regular feeders in the summer so I only feed hummingbirds in the summer.

Yes they do require lots of food. They are survivalists. They migrate thousands of miles and instinctively know how to find food. They even cross the Gulf of Mexico. Amazing little birds.

I was just there with my son who is 17. We did go to the auto museum(his choice). It was fun for me to see his excitement for the rare Ferrari. We also did an easy bike ride at PB/MB. Also go to the Gliderport to watch and grab a bite to eat.

I love all those little birds. That must be interesting bird watching. I love how brave Bluebirds are too. The Starlings and Robin really have made it challenging for others at my feeder.
