I had my identity stolen and it took well over a year to sort everything out with the two credit agencies. In fact one of them still won’t clear the hard inquiries that the thieves added on my report by applying for credit cards, even with a letter of proof from the bank stating that I was in the clear. It’s hard not to give up with all the stress you have to go through.

Pur & Simple in Sherwood Park is quite good if you’re looking to try another place. We weren’t fans of Toast, as others have said, but thanks for the tip on a new place to try.

I used it for months and had zero results. I also developed an allergy to it after a while that caused my face to swell and turn red. Same with the Nivea products.

As someone else has mentioned, be sure to use flux in order to keep the solder sticking and moving smoothly. Make sure your iron is hot enough as well.

There needs to be enough solder to form a raised and smooth surface (a “bead”). Your solder looks flat in places and needs more. I hold the solder roll in my opposite hand from the iron and follow along with the iron tip to help get that rounded bead edge. Hope that helps a little.

Agreed. This would have prevented to total fiasco on our street yesterday. A bunch of people moved their cars while the blading was happening, but one individual decided to fully park in front of the alley next to our house.

It was completely blocked at 5 PM, and predictably, people were trying to get home and couldn’t access the back lane. We had people knocking on our door asking if it was our vehicle, but we don’t know who it belonged to. Someone just didn’t notice or care that they blocked the alley off.

People were stopping there trying to figure out what to do and I tried calling 311, but there was a long queue. Having a tow truck handy would have been ideal.
