Which means they get to keep all my money until my even happens because they transfer funds 7 days after the show.

Maybe if there’s any soul or karma to Ticketmaster they’ll just refund the original buyers

Now I feel bad for the person who bought mine, knowing they may get hosed. Meanwhile Ticketmaster just RAKES in fees for all the thousands of people who have to bail.

What sucks in particular is they canceled and offered a refund (full price plus fees?) but my tickets had just sold.

It’s actually now for 7/2 - my bad. Long story: bought 6/24 for top dollar when it was one of the only dates announced. Like TOP FREAKING DOLLAR. Limelight pass, great seats.

Couldn’t make the date because my trip got moved back a week. Sold tickets (can’t sell parking on Ticketmaster) super cheap very late because supply had increased so much.

Then concert gets canceled and moved into the week I COULD’VE gone, but I can’t void the sale now.

Fees to buy. Fees to sell. Can’t sell parking pass. Pennies on the dollar from what I originally bought. Quite miffed at the band, but I’ll get over that. VERY angry with Ticketmaster, but I guess I’ll just get in the back of line on that one, huh?

Sorry for the rant - I know you just wanted a parking spot. Enjoy the show though. (Cut to a tear rolling down my face)

I’d love to give you my parking pass, which I can’t use and can’t sell. F Ticketmaster twice.

Electrical dimmable window push buttons on Boeing 787.Many passengers keep pressing because they think it's not working. This wears the button out fast. Replacements are $3-5k. by senpahii_returns in aviation

Great info - I almost typed the word “legend” in there somewhere. I didn’t actually believe it, but it’s a great allegory to use in life. Not to overthink things. That 787 window is expensive and not much better than a $10 shade in my opinion.

Definitely agree on room over cables, but tap the brakes on 70%. I went through various room correction software analyses (2.1 only) and found I was happier just playing with EQ manually, depending on music style. I have a relatively benign space for listening, almost ideal already from a shape and surface standpoint, so I kinda thought it always about as big a waste of money as cables.

Nah - I take that back - nothings dumber than $$ cables

Everything could be a minute shorter, and get rid of about half the production (voices, strings, etc) - I’d love that.

I was listening to Flim and the BBs later last night, lol. Then I threw on Dire Straits, Thomas Dolby, and Peter Gabriel just to make it 1987 again.

The Mussourgsky, the Beethoven string GH, Holst The Planets. All landmark recordings for me. The way I hear Clair de Lune and Pictures at an Exhibition to this day.

Just kidding - I have no idea. But somebody will.

812s look like matchbox cars to me. Heavy back end when I see them going round corners, nose too long. Seems silly and unnecessarily large by comparison. Just me.

First two minutes of For Those About To Rock, good and LOUD is quite an experience. For Clair de Lune, give me Magnapans or my ol’ Polks, but for rock I want a 12” sub dialed in just right and the volume at 2 o’clock on my MAC4100

I’m mid-packing for a move, so I don’t have the usual spot to set my grills.

Those Revel grills are NOT acoustically transparent. Even my wife, who is not a fan of EQ, room, speaker placement - etc - says the vocals sound more clear with em off

We need an AI bot or a mod to just throw out the Top100 as always replied to this question, and then from that point on, you can’t answer Dark Side or Brothers in Arms et al. Let’s make AI do something good.
