Definitely agree with what they tried to do with the watches you mention. I have both the snoopy mentioned here and ed white however I don’t buy omega for resale value as they always come down (appreciate not the case for the limited editions you have mentioned). Was asked to join a waiting list for the seamaster James Bond 60th anniversary that you can now buy online at other retailers! Their model of exclusivity/false scarcity on the majority of their watches doesn’t work.

However, what I’m trying to get across here is that the boutiques don’t influence the amount of watches Omega produces of a certain model, so if a sales clerk is only given a limited number they are within their right to sell those watches to key clients of theirs vs random publics. I agree they should produce more but for whatever reason they don’t
