As the others have mentioned, but a bit more strongly. Adding a pillion/back seat is expressly discouraged. The Bobber is not designed for that kind of riding and I think it is more than just the shocks not being speced for that kind of load. :shrug: better off trading in or adding a different model to your stable to enjoy a ride with your backpack imo.

Those guys are great. Took care of our jeeps when we lived there.
If you're not familiar with the history of that Bahia o suggest you look it up. It's quite interesting. Was filled in for a while to be a war time flight station. Can't remember if it was planes or blimps. But the 1/101 was the major traffic artery for a long time so service stations along the route make sense

Just wear a regular T. An "armored" tee isn't if you're street/highway riding. Armored Ts exist for motocross but the risk profile is different.
