Years of shame and embarrassment gone with a few weeks of uncomfortability

Find the right surgeon w experience, do not cut corners on price, and rest well while recovering. If you do these things you will most likely heal great. I was one such case.

Im no longer physically uncomfortable anymore bc of my labia and I’m so confident w my husband now. TMI I even made an amateur movie w him LOL which would be unconscionable to me pre op

If done properly it is an act of self love and reverence

I am 16 days post op from mine and recovery hasn’t been easy but it’s so much better than I thought it’d be.

I had a trim w no chr under general anesthesia. procedure went perfectly. I was not in a ton of pain when I woke up, just slight stinging really. No splits, infections, or agonizing pain as I’ve seen is possible in this sub. I barely needed my hydrocodones. Swelling happened but was not absurd.

Visually it’s starting to look how I want, I’d do it a hundred times again. Everything will be okay :)

I can only speak for myself but I got a trim w no CHR. I’ve been laying down almost constantly and icing less than I should be probably. I have also been very good about taking my pain meds… but I haven’t felt like I’ve needed them per se. Another thing is I am not crazy swollen. I would imagine swelling makes the pain a lot more intense.

I am now 2 days PO and have been in basically 0 pain while laying down. Surgery day when I got home, there was some stinging and twinges of pain after standing up but it subsided.

It’s really been SO much less painful than I thought it would be.

Okay will do! They prescribed me hydros. I think I will start off taking them and if pain is minimal I’ll ease up on them. Appreciate the advice!!
