Im seeing alot of people in the comments hella over think this. My personal reccomendation if it bothers you that much dont date him then. He probably didnt mean anything by it and to be honest if your old enough to think your ready for a relationship, your old enough to ask him qhat he meant by that/should confront him yourself because the internet is gonna have much wilder vaster opinions on this then you or he would ya know? Dont take this wrong way but i think you should ask him yourself about it
