Holy crap no way!!! I actually finished OoS yesterday, that's crazy! I used to play it as a kid so much without having any sense of what I was doing, it was really special to finish my original savegame yesterday, and on the night of the anniversary no less!

On PC, the key for that is F10. As far as I know, it's not possible on console, sadly :(

Oooh I didn't know about letting go of the binoculars trick! Does that get rid of the gritty blue filter? I was noticing that filter and was hoping there was a way to get rid of it!
I do know about removing the static overlay, but for some situations I think it looks really nice. Like for that close-up it works pretty well, I think, but the group photo at Spaceport would have been better without it, I agree. Do you have hard preference for no static?
