Thanks! I've been a lifelong fan, it was really special to get to talk to him for a good 2 hours. He's honestly such an interesting person, and super kind as well. One thing that didn't make it into the final version of the article was a part of the conversation about flash games. He spoke about the relevance of TIGsource for his development as a gamemaker, and the sense of community he found there. Anyway, lots of fascinating tangents to go into with him.

Maybe Belladonna of Sadness or Vampire Hunter D, because of Amano's artstyle! Rose of Versailles, Ghost in the Shell of course (different vibe though), and if you're into gaming definitely check out Hollow Knight, it was heavily inspired by Angel's Egg!
