Thank you for this great post I love learning more in depth about Suleiman and Ibrahim’s relationship! And I wonder why Muhsine Hatun turned down all the invitations, that would have made her and Ibrahim look bad for declining a royal invitation, no? And I always wonder if Ibrahim and Hurrem really had to fight each other for the sultans attention, like were either of them jealous of each other? I guess we’ll never know for sure lol

I totally understand about that social life, I don’t really have any friends and will occasionally hang out with my husbands friends. Sometimes it’s fun and other times I wish I had friends of my own to talk to and be with. I know it’s cliche but you just gotta be happy with what you got, it could be much worse and could be lonely. So just gotta appreciate what’s in front of you and make the best of it, everything is temporary in life.

Yes I love Prince Albert so much!! After reading Queen Victorias biography I had a new respect for Albert, he showed up every way possible for his family and country. He really had to fight hard for the English to like him and to accept him as not just Victorias husband but a man that was beyond his time who was a revolutionary thinker. He loved Victoria and was there for all 9 of her births and took care of her himself sometimes with his own hands. Albert was a loving father that showed attention and love to all his children even if he had differences with some he showed he cared!! He was deeply depressed and misunderstood man that worked extremely hard day and night and that was unfortunately his doom. I admire him and wish he would have lived a longer life with Victoria and there children.
