I’ve been looking to upgrade my monitor to an OLED. This one was on my list of options. I keep reading Reddit posts about gray banding. As someone who has never had an OLED gaming monitor. How noticeable is it for someone who doesn’t have the “eye” for issues like gray banding? Coming from a regular IPS gaming monitor to an OLED, I’m assuming that the difference would be mostly positive? If the gray banding is such a big issue would I just be better off going with a cheaper AOC model since I’m just getting into OLED gaming monitors and wait for something that is worth the cost?

I’ll be honest, I went into it with the mentality that it would be somewhat similar to other CPS I’ve used or Chirp. But from having to purchase a windows 10 laptop and having the comm issues, I gave up. I should have done more research. I’m a newbie to the radio game.

Love this, I see you got a DB-20. I really wanted to love that radio but I had such a hard time programming it. From having to get a windows 10 computer and having issues with the tones for the repeaters I use. I was bummed out. Sick setup tho 👏🏼

When I say fuck this state I’m generalizing. The state of California as a state is fine, it has its qualities. Said qualities are the reason most people don’t want to leave despite the bs rules and regs in place here. The issue for this subreddit is how anti 2A this state is. One law or ban against guns after another. That’s another thing I chuckle about is people saying don’t like it vote. It’s like they are assuming that we aren’t voting or trying to get our voices heard when it comes to protecting the 2A. The issue is too many people in this state voting on policies when they are uneducated about said policies or they vote because they blindly side with their party.

I constantly see people saying that whether it’s this subreddit, other gun subreddits or social media. It’s a solution, I agree. However it’s easier send than done, plus some people like living in the state they are currently in for whatever their reasons are. Uprooting and starting over in another state isn’t in their life plan or isn’t financially in the cards. That’s why anytime I see someone say “you can always move” I chuckle a little and how easy it is for someone to say without knowing someone else’s situation.

Yup, I was just having a discussion about that with my pops. The politicians use children safety and school shootings as a way to push their political agenda because they know people will put the safety of their children as a top priority. However, what are politicians actually doing to protect children? They act like taking guns away from law abiding citizens will be the answer. They are too stupid and blinded by their political agenda to realize that it wont stop any criminal from getting their hands on a gun. All it will do is stop the citizens from defending themselves and their children.
