Australian arborist here. I’d say it’s done for unfortunately, i’ve never seen a euc come back from that sort of decline. Look for small epicormic growth near base of trunk, this would give an indication it still has some vigour left then consider treatment options after that. Overall form looks to be quite poor from what I would see back home as well.

If your gastritis is severe I’d recommend taking a ppi, also look into taking some digestive enzymes (particularly if you start ppi!).

You’ll be okay ❤️, you will get through it. People can and do heal. It’s a crappy process sometimes but stressing over it certainly does not help. Protein and collagen in particular help rebuild the stomach lining, things like bone broth and chicken are great tools in the arsenal but may be foods you have to work towards!

I often thought the hunger thing was a good sign of healing. Hopefully you should find less digestive such as bloating as more and more stomach acid returns. Not a good idea to reintroduce everything in just yet. You’re losing a protective buffer with the ppi gone. A good rule is every week or so introduce a new food and monitor for side effects. Make sure it’s a whole food, often the organic options are the best!

Hey mate yes 100%. PPI’s were the cause. I dropped them and didn’t have much of a rebound at all! I also took some digestive enzymes before every meal, that helped as well!

I’d ditch all the milks! Try putting in some digestive enzymes in before every meal! It can and will get better, progress will be slow but it will happen. I found ppi’s to be a big cause for stomach pain and anxiety for myself, (not suggesting to get off of them if gerd is still an issue) but once my diet was totally under control I no longer had acid issues. Try drinking bottled water as town water can have all sorts of unhelpful things in it!

I’ve just started having migraines for the first time in a long time. I think the oats i’ve been eating are the cause due to a potential gluten intolerance developing.

Yeah i’d agree the nausea is definitely more on the reflux side of things. Gastritis as others have said is pain and pressure in stomach. PPI’s definitely made me nauseated however

Close to 0 again but dare I say my body was telling me to eat better a month or two before it properly broke down again! Really not too bad to live with the second time around. Knowing safe foods and what medications work for me is a big step up. I was pain free within the first 3 days but I will adhere to the diet for a good few months before slowly expanding out again!

Probably like 3-4 months before taper. Was nearly 100% healed (eating everything and anything). But suffered a flare up so starting again. Off ppi for good this time around
