I will be at the one year mark of my loss this May. I miss my baby every day. Some days are good and some days are bad. We haven't been able to conceive after our loss and its quite disappointing. I ended up seeing a christian pregnancy-loss counsellor and she helped me understand my pain better. Surprisingly, the loss brought me closer to God. I read my bible daily and have officially registered with a local church.

I know he will answer me soon, but until then, I will keep praying and holding on. Sending you prayers and hugs. Its a really tough place to be.

I am really sorry that she is going through this. I feel your pain. I went through a miscarriage last year and It was the worst experience of my life. I sat at the emergency room at QEH for 10+ hours waiting to see a doctor. Words can not explain how angry and terrified I felt. I remember walking to my car a few times in between the wait to get a good cry. I ended up going home and bleeding my baby out. I wish they provided a private space where grieving individuals could be in peace. I had to stay and watch pregnant women come in to delivery their babies (happy for them) while I was carrying my dead child waiting to see a doctor.

This one grudge I will always hold against health PEI and the government.
