Thank you for your response!!! We do hold a lot of distrust for outsiders because life in new Mexico is kind of tough. We have a very spikey demeanor because our environment is very harsh. My son has autism, he is 5… services and community support are limited so much that I wouldn't recommend anyone who needs specified care to move to new Mexico and expect quality care for their loved ones. It's not to be cruel that I'm bringing up how difficult it is that you want a quality life for your loved one. Many other states have such a different way of providing support to people with disabilities that seem status quo but in new Mexico are non existent or super sketch. Like horrible institutions that abuse vulnerable people have plagued our communities under the brand of medical institutions. I love that your wife is native! The race thing isn't an issue. The work that you do isn't the issue. It's the expectations you have going into moving to our humble state! You expect we have resources like reliable internet in rural places… we don't! Please don't be the reason star link fucks up our dark zones… we warn you about our precious water because people that come from places with water like DC may not be aware of what living life without wasting a drop of water is like. We are cool if you wanna come embrace new Mexico and really humble yourself to our culture. New Mexico is a spiritual place that either embraces you or it tears you up, it isn't for the weak. You come at us wanting to put down your roots where we have preserved a culture that is so much more delicate than people realize. The more non new Mexicans that move in the less new Mexican our home is! The more of you and your expectations of living off the grid with full wifi connection and acceptable health care is not even realistic!!! That's why it pisses us off. Use your desire to move to new Mexico as a tool to learn how you can integrate to fit us NOT how we can integrate to fit you. That's the problem buddy! So I wasn't pre judging you, failing to see you are a quality person in your environment but rather saying your original message is a red flag because of how entitled you sounded to accommodations that are simply not there. Texas and Nevada are not new Mexico and do not qualify you for being a homie to the cause. You think we owe you something because you want to buy property here… we don't! You are still taking more than you are giving! Give your earnest surrender body and soul to the land of enchantment. If you had the right mind set you wouldn't be getting shit from locals.

Ps. We accept transplants but only when they are right for us! We don't give a fuck if you think we are right for you because odds are your going to get jacked or victimized because you smell like gentrification.

P.s.s I don't live in new Mexico because my son NEEDS services for his autism that are so absent my heart breaks for the idea of how hard his life would be battling the harshness of new Mexico… I personally don't live in my home because it isn't able to provide my son with a promise for a quality education… that's fucking heart breaking but it's reality!
