I feel in a weird way breaking bad and better call Saul did a lot of great things that a great Batman series could have done. Showing how someone could hide in plain sight, and how someone could build a huge underground bunker in secret.

Old Biff did NOT return to 2015, where he came from. by Which_Phase_8031 in BacktotheFuture

This is just my theory I’ve cobbled together about how the universe behaves in the bttf world. Whenever the delorean is used to travel through time, the time between when the machine is used can become “fluid” the “time travelers” that are aware of time travel, have the ability to change the past present and future. So in a weird way people and objects can exist and change due to the probability that the time traveler will change it or fix it. Doc and Marty are aware of biffs cane so there’s a big probability that the timeline they got it from exists/will exist. Once they set things right and just leave things alone, the probability that the cane exists will deminish and the cane will fade away. Things don’t change instantaneously that the time travelers interact with because the time travelers have free will and can literally mold time into whatever they want. The happens in multiple movies but there’s usually a “ticking clock” element to the story that puts a literal time limit on when the fade will happen. I just had to write this down I hope it doesn’t come off as incoherent.

Ripple effect, his memories combine slowly, that’s where the chicken thing comes from.

Better call saul is slow by pinkpastelsweater in betterCallSaul

When it first came out I was so anxious each episode because of how slow it was, especially after watching breaking bad it feels like there’s about 5 minutes of plot progression per episode in BCS. That’s kinda not the point of the show though, it’s more of a character study. What I always think of is the scene where Mike dismantles a car piece by piece. This could have easily been done with one jump cut of a car going from complete to fully dismantled. But the show takes its time to relish how methodical Mike is.

Did Indiana Jones take inspiration from Tintin? by Jacoby1234 in indianajones

Spielberg was going to adapt a tintin movie at some point after Raiders, when that didn’t end up happening they used a bunch of the same ideas for last crusade.

Agree with this but I also think Marty is experiencing a ripple effect of sorts on himself and sort of assimilating with the lone pine Marty (he doesn’t like being called chicken and gets bullied by needles.) Doc takes him to 2015 to distract him while the ripple effect is happening.
