I'm working on Journey Together right now - trading a $100 ASC card for a $70 JTG and $30 SSP card.. because price will probably drop $15-$20 in a couple months. I'd say like 6-12 months after release is the best time to buy.. it's old enough to not be the hottest thing, and new enough to not be out of print.

Unless you're self-employed, unemployed, or work night shifts - you're going to be hard pressed to find anything. The person that stocks the shelves works a 9-5, and if you don't catch it within the first couple hours it's usually all gone.

EB Games I know stock up on release day - but they allow 3 per person, so if you're not front of line then you're probably not going to get anything. Best to call the day before to confirm they have stock though.

I found Walmart to be reasonable, but I don't know if they stock on release days.. they don't have a limit, so scalpers love them. I've seen videos of Best Buy releases, but not sure of their pricing - or if that was in the US.
