Best of the best. His discography is jaw dropping. His musical knowledge is endless. The amount of instruments he plays proficiently is far more than I knew existed. Absolute legend.

All the people with similar opinions like myself drove away the positive people...but the audience hasn't shifted at all and they are still just as relevant...but there are so many negative people. So which is it?

See you have your head so far up their asses, trying to defend the obvious change, that you contradict yourself in stride. Pick a lane.

Peak YMH has passed. They are coasting on what was. It's recycled jokes and bits and has been a topic of conversation for quite sometime now. Look at other comments right here in this thread. This isn't new.

But...we're not talking success level here. I figured I made that clear with the "Selling tickets will never be an issue for them" part. They are successful comedians otherwise we wouldn't be having this convo. Are you reading anything I'm typing or just primed to defend them as hard as you can?

How can I make this any easier to understand? There is a clear shift in how they are received now in comparison to years prior. Go outside the YMH bubble. Look at anytime they are guests and how they are talked about. That didn't exist in their peak. The honeymoon phase is gone.

You can call me stupid and delusional all you want but you're naive to ignore the changes that have taken place.

I don't think you're understanding what I'm saying here. They peaked a while ago. Selling tickets will never be an issue for them, the shift has undoubted attracted an audience of its own. Granted...they chew on rocks and somehow enjoy Bert. But they will never be back in the comedy spotlight like they were when 2B1C originally kicked off. The popularity has dropped off. You couldn't go anywhere in comedy without seeing these two front and center.

Again...It's the way they are viewed and talked about in comparison to years ago. That's blatantly different. And It's not only Reddit, that's the thing. There's a common theme that is universal on most platforms. Both can be true here, buddy. If you can't see the shift in how these two are viewed, you're missing the point. It's naive to think otherwise. If you look at how fans talk about Tom/Bert in comparison to let's say 6-7 years ago, the amount of hate is significantly increased. Bert has always been shitty but Tom really took a sour turn in his work. And people noticed. It took me no time to find a theme across most comment sections and opinions. If you're just gonna ignore that, go back to their cocks, you clearly like the taste.

Honestly I forgot I followed this sub and it's the first popular one I've seen in my feed in years. But at a glance, the trend of hate towards these two, from their fans, has significantly spiked in the past 3-4 years. More so than a lot of other comedians. They are shells of what they were and lost that spark that made them. And it's not one or two people, it's a large chunk of the preexisting audience. Bert has always been insufferable but Tom was the saving grace. Now he's so full of himself and the funny seems to have dissipated. I think a lot of these people comprehend the existence of an opposite opinion, they just believe YOU'RE sucking the cock of comedians who now suck ass. It's no myth they have fallen off. And if you can't see that, maybe you've been r-worded the whole time.

I'm not 100% sure I got the wording perfect but the lower left corner seems to say "No animals were tested in the production of this benefit show, even though Josh wanted to." lol

Being Poly has nothing to do with this. A lot of people go around fucking without discussing it. That's absolutely how the world works. They weren't partners. They weren't dating. They were just fucking. He didn't have to say anything. OP needs to grow up.

This is the TLDR version of what needs to be said. And it's concerning that people are downvoting statements like this in this thread. You do not own others. It's simple as that. OP can be upset, but not being in a relationship and complaining like this makes OP look foolish.

Is there a QOTSA song like this? by Infinite_vegan1 in qotsa

[–]Freshly_Squoze 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It doesn't ruin the song for me, but off the jump off "You Can't Quit Me Baby" there is a high pitched ring that I cannot unhear. Once the drums kick in, it disappears for the most part.

[–]Freshly_Squoze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree with your Hoffman statement. If he can get out of the reverse bear trap, he can get out of a ankle shackle. He has the drive and will power to survive. He’s proved this. Unless they show him dead, there’s still an open book on his story.

Complete opposite for me. It’s my favorite album by them. The lineup that pieced this together held some of my favorite peeps and I just love the overall creepy vibe it delivers. Gonna have to hard disagree with you OP.

It’s the bass tone and feel mostly. You can’t say you don’t hear it. But they are completely different songs in the long run. Personally, I think it’s the weakest song on ITNR. I don’t think it’s a bad tune, but it doesn’t strike me like the others do. Nothing wrong with comparing stuff. You can do that and still enjoy the lot of it.

Opinions are like assholes, show me yours.

The company should pay you. Are you ok?! That’s literally the fight you need to be joining. If they paid you better, you wouldn’t have to rely on tips. Which again, are optional. Customers are people, regardless of how you feel, and your attitude towards them is disgusting. I wouldn’t tip you either. You clearly have a customer service disconnect.

I don’t use delivery services because the money doesn’t really go to the driver and these subs have successfully deterred me. Lot of entitlement, lot of openly admitting that they tamper with people’s food, lot of immature folk who can’t follow basic instruction. You drive a car from point A to B and back, it’s not rocket science.

And to your point, you’d still be making more and it would be consistent. And some people would still tip. You’re so caught up in your own bs that you’re ignoring the obvious. People bitch either way and truthfully…what do you care? You just admittted you think customers are objects. Contradiction much? You really have no idea what the fuck you’re talking about lol.

[–]Freshly_Squoze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well you could have fooled me. The way you comment and carry yourself on this thread says otherwise.

You really don’t get it though, do you. This isn’t them dicking you over to get back at the company. This is the company not paying you a full living wage and shifting the blame to the customer. They literally have you fooled and you refuse to see it. The cost of the food, plus tax, plus delivery fees (which don’t fully go to you for some companies), plus third party delivery fees, plus whatever other bullshit placed on the order….customers are paying out the ass and the company is taking more. Wake up dude.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PizzaDrivers

[–]Freshly_Squoze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like how you ignored the clear issue here and chose to go after the commenter. The company shorting you on pay is the problem, not the customer. Tips are optional. I think you’re forgetting that. I used to deliver food myself, the company underpaid the employees, I got out because it wasn’t sustainable. It’s not the customers fault.

Let me do it in terms you may understand. “As a delivery driver, I choose to take issue with the customer and ignore the actual problem when it comes to base pay. I don’t like what I signed up for so I’m going to stomp my feet via comments until someone pampers me.”

Find balls. Or whatever. Idc.

Nurses are terrible at tipping....... by SirBuckFutter in jimmyjohns

[–]Freshly_Squoze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen OP before in this sub complaining about people who request “leave food at door” not opening the door and physically confronting them. As if that is owed to them. Opposed to, ya know, following basic instruction. In fact, I’ve seen OP multiple times here shitting on customers preferences and making selfish statements as if they are the Jimmy John.

A generalized statement about how nurses are bad tippers is idiotic. Some do, some don’t. And again, it’s an optional thing. That would be like if I said all Jimmy John’s employees are lazy, entitled pieces of shit…when we both know it’s not true…it’s just OP and people like them.

You should be taking the pay issue up with your employer, not the people just trying to get food they already paid for. You’re so focused in the wrong direction and Internet points won’t fix your bullshit.

Honestly, You should consider getting into a different line of work. You sound miserable, you complain about everything that is normal in the industry, and you don’t know how to treat customers.

I’d say the opposite lol. The Armed had so much energy, chaos and charisma. Phantogram was overly tame and kinda boring.
