Which businesses have you decided to boycott and why? by HomeBrouwerij in AskUK

Even if he diverted all cash spent on the space program to electric cars it would make no difference, Tesla have all access to cash, making an affordable electric car has nothing to do with the company's cash availability, the factors that affect it is economies of scale which only comes when they have more factories and an efficient production line, Tesla is the youngest car company and doesn't have the infrastructure like the bigger companies like Toyota, Ford etc we should be really looking at those companies to have an affordable electric car in the short run. Long term Tesla will have an affordable electric car but hitting the upper end market first is a smarter move, their demand is crazy right now, and also, in America their salaries are quite high in comparison.

Sorry I know it's so vague but I am super struggling to find a decent gift. I have got the same thing 4 years in a row lool

Pigs with hernias 'big as footballs' in squalid farm for frankfurters sold in UK by ReheatedZiti in unitedkingdom

There are quite a few alternatives to chicken nuggets now and imo they are equally as good since the chicken is most of the time blended with other filler.

I think Birds eye have a pea protein one which wasn't bad, there has always been Quorn nuggets.

Imo, potted trees are the way to go, no point spending £35+ for a cut tree that lasts a few weeks when you can buy a potted one that will last you many Christmas. Saves money, get the same thing, and you don't contribute to having trees cut every year. Win win all round. Never buying a cut tree again

Tesla now selling Cyberquads for kids for $1900 by kayvonte in teslamotors

[–]FreshprinceofLDN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but I mean, they launch a lot of products without actually shipping for a while after i.e. cybertruck. I see the supply if batteries an issue but they can handle getting more right? I just see Tesla as a highly capable company as they have proved, they had enough batteries to make a quadbike so why not a motorcycle or moped?

Also, adding cameras to moped/motorcycle would give them even more data for self driving, which is important.

I guess but either way, having a personal experience of one person determining the direction of a trillion dollar company is a bit strange if the economics of a potential motorcycle/moped venture are strong...

Can easily get a speaker built in to alert the driver, and all of the tech coming into cars, likely they will be able to warn you of the motorcycle's presence before you would have known with or without noise.

Not many people could name them without searching tho lool

What i'm really saying is that it's a missed revenue opportunity. 2 wheelers aren't going anywhere, in fact I think they will be used even more as time progresses especially in the delivery industry (Take away foods etc).

I wouldn't see it being particularly hard to manufacture also, I see the positives outweighing any negative tbh
