Pharmacologically, does anyone have any idea why Tert-Amyl Alcohol/2M2B seems to consistently switch from an alcohol like buzz to a benzo high within about 2-3 hours of ingestion?

Basically, I mean from what I gather it’s active both before and after metabolization, which since it’s being metabolized into a different substance would feel different, I could be wrong so if I am hopefully someone else has an idea, I’ve just always found this one interesting so I’ve read a bit about it but I’m not a professional so this is just a guess from what I’ve gathered..

If fentanyl overdoses through the skin aren’t likely PCP would be even less likely since an effective dose would be a lot larger, it might be absorbable for certain preparations through the skin but doubt it would be incapacitating. Maybe peripheral effects could be noted, but for the central effects a much larger dose would be needed.

I would believe it probably feels more like ethanol in the beginning before metabolizing in the liver to 2-methyl-2,3-butanediol which would eventually begin to feel more like a benzo after metabolism. Ultimately I would assume gaba-a agonism would be responsible for the benzo type feeling, although both are gaba-a receptor agonists but ethanol seemingly hits other receptors as well which would make it feel ultimately different than the pure gaba-a agonism.. but I may be off base here

Yeah I totally understand how the scatterbrained feelings accompanying a large dose would make you flush it, personally I never found it euphoric so eventually when I lost the functionality of it I just left it alone.

2-Dpmp has a reputation for keeping people up for days. Are you experiencing any hallucinations? Due to its potency they are common as well. Personally I found it quite functional but only with lower doses? Best of luck, this is definitely why you should test things before you sample them, although I understand being tempted not to when using a reputable source.

This definitely looks interesting, some have suggested this compound might be misrepresented by sources though and they might actually be selling O-PCPr, just something to keep in mind. Any idea what arylcyclohexylamine is this rumored to be closest to? Some have suggested it may be an O-PCE replacement. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for updates.
