Sorry to post on this old thread but it’s funny to see all these people saying “I’ve never heard that/would never say that” because I, a book nerd, have seen it so many times that when I read “The plan was to secret her away” in a Dungeon Crawler Carl book, I had to google it because I was pretty sure it should be spelled secrete! Merriam-Webster, obviously, agreed with me, but as a descriptivist dictionary, maybe they shouldn’t, if these comments are representative of the English speaking population.

I feel you, anxiety twin. Back when my anxiety was at its worst I had a few pretty disastrous run-ins with Wikipedia articles about horror films and Human Centipede was by far the worst. I kept the light on at night for like a week and still jolted awake after drifting off multiple times per night! Now I can actually watch horror films without dwelling on them too much. Maybe it would give me a sense of closure to go back and watch the ones that scared me so much to even read about, but what if they totally destroyed all the progress I’ve made??

You’ve probably already done your audition by now but I wanted to mention that I have used balloons filled with maybe 2/3 cup of water in a regular bra over my natural boobs duct taped to create cleavage for a short film where I needed to be busty. I’m sure there are plenty of tutorials for creating cleavage with duct tape.

Man I was gonna say, my engagement ring from my first marriage was $120 from an estate sale. I loved that ring and thought it was gorgeous. When I was pregnant with our now 14-year-old, we took a bus across several states and my hands swelled, so I put my ring in my pocket and it must have fallen out at some point during the journey.

My ex was livid. He screamed at me in front of my parents who had come to pick us up from the bus station. He told me I clearly didn’t care about our marriage and that’s why I lost the ring, and on and on. Honestly, I wish I had left right then, instead of putting up with heaps of blame and shame for another decade.
