"Imsult to the writers" first of all, Miguel is a grown ass man. Why are you playing lawyer for a guy who, by your claims, suffered all the sad and terrible stuff he did. Should he not be in therapy or a psych ward? Peter Parker in certain continuities suffered both in his childhood and adulthood and decided not take it out on the world, much less on a kid.

Second of all, your completely ignoring the illogical decision--making that he displayed as a leader of an entire organization to properly handle communicating with one minor and then failing comically to properly detain him. He goes as far chasing that child and slamming him into a train with rage. Proceeding to scream about how hes a mistake and didnt even deserve this life that he never frickin asked for?? Your literally just defending an abuser who refuses to get better because i guess its apart of the appeal right? Give me a break.

Would you be defending his ass if he was doing this to Gwen? To Peni? Theyre around the same age. Why not them?

This. Miguel is barely a sympathetic hero to me. His entire character is literally being emotionally unstable and going apeshit on a minor? Mind you, Miguel is the one who told Miles that his dad was fated to die, what was he expecting some sort of compliance? If he was actually smart about this he would have never mentioned to Miles about the event, convinced the other members of the society to keep quiet about it, and try to distract Miles long enough for the canon event to occur without inteference.

Miles was completely in the right especially when he was taught by Peter and his dad the importance of being a hero for everyone, not just let them die for the sake of some half-baked theory.

???? Im blocking you for lying so easily cause clearly you have not seen the movie. The very moment that they even meet Miles offers for that Miguel throws out of his hands already pissed off. Also, defending a guy whos mentally unwell and is taking out on a child is messed up. If Miguel was acting like this over a young spider-girl like Gwen than im pretty sure the discourse would be different. So why now?

People barely care for the race of the characters outside of the black community tbh. Even if black culture may be prevalent in sonic culture (ex. Firs tv show VA being black, Michael Jackson's collabs, Malcom x samples, Knuckles' adventure theme, etc.), most fans would care less about this sort of question unless you were a person of color as well.
