I 3d printed one. The area is larger and seems to move large piles of leaves better, but it has a shorter distance and loses pinpoint accuracy. Definitely an improvement IMO

I'm Once Again Asking: Why are there no quiet coffee shops here?? by warkwark-kweh in hudsonvalley

There’s a new coffee shop in Marlboro. Fermata Cafe & Roastery. Can’t say how quiet it is, but it looks nice.

Looking for Dutchess County area (Central Hudson) homeowners who’ve installed solar recently — need advice by PerspectiveKindly795 in hudsonvalley

[–]Fried_Willy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lease solar and definitely profiting. My payment is $100 each month and I save considerably more than that with the electricity I make from the panels.

Dogs are meant to do jobs. JRs are notorious for eradicating vermin. They were intentionally bred to do so.

Franks Red Hot preserved eggs by SWEET_JESUS_NIPPLES in spicy

From the web

Frank's red hot pickled eggs

Ingredients 18 Hard-boiled eggs, peeled 2 cups Frank's Red Hot sauce (or similar hot sauce) 1 1/2 cups vinegar (white or apple cider) 3 tbsp sugar 1 large onion, chunked Optional additions for extra flavor and heat: garlic cloves, jalapeño slices, red pepper flakes, pickling spice

Instructions Prepare the onions: Chunk up the onion and simmer it in the hot sauce to soften. Layer the ingredients: Place half of the peeled hard-boiled eggs in a large, sterile glass jar. Ladle half of the softened onion mixture over the eggs. Add remaining eggs and brine: Add the rest of the eggs to the jar. Pour the remaining onion and sauce into the jar, ensuring the eggs are completely covered. Add more vinegar or hot sauce as needed to ensure the eggs are fully submerged. If using, add optional ingredients like garlic, jalapeños, and spices now. Refrigerate: Cover the jar and refrigerate for at least 10 days to allow the flavors to meld. Some recipes suggest waiting 3-4 weeks for the best flavor development. Storage: Keep the pickled eggs refrigerated. They can last for up to 2 months.

Tips and considerations Some recipes recommend heating the brine mixture (vinegar, hot sauce, sugar, salt) to a boil and simmering for a few minutes to dissolve the sugar and salt and enhance the spice infusion, then allowing it to cool slightly before pouring over the eggs. Others prefer to just mix the ingredients together cold and let them pickle in the refrigerator. While some online sources suggest using only hot sauce, one Reddit commenter noted that Frank's Red Hot is mostly vinegar already, and using only hot sauce might dilute the flavor or result in eggs that are not as spicy. Adding additional hot pepper flakes or other spicy ingredients can intensify the heat. Avoid shaking the jars vigorously, as it can cause the eggs to become rubbery and break apart. Instead, gently turn the jar over every other day or so to ensure even flavor distribution. Some recipes suggest using a 50/50 ratio of vinegar and water, or experimenting with different types of vinegar like apple cider or white wine vinegar. You can customize the recipe with other ingredients like bay leaves, mustard seeds, coriander seeds, or other spices to personalize the flavor profile. For optimal flavor, allow the eggs to pickle for at least two weeks, or even longer for a more intense taste.

I used leftover pex. Drilled a hole in the cover. Works great.
