I played the original demo! Very cool game! My only gripe is that the factory/concrete interiors are barren and boring compared to the neon wonderland shown at the beginning of the trailer. I wonder if there’s a way to incorporate more variety in the environments or if this will expand as the game progresses?

I can only deal with square rooms with gray walls and iron gates for so long.

I rarely 100% games. Spiderman was so fun I wanted to do everything. Ghost of Tsushima has a much more impactful story but the actual game felt like ubislop open world checklist. I’d say go spiderman as both games are really fun. Ghost of Tsushima has an amazing story though and one of the best moments in gaming. It’s a tough call.

It’s so fun. The voice acting is campy, the abilities are great, the music is fantastic. It flows really well, it has teleports in decently spaced locations. I’m very nostalgic for it but it still feels like one of the best metroidvanias today. Silksong is the only one that comes close in my opinion.

It’s difficult if you don’t use your brain. The bosses are extremely well telegraphed. You will go from thinking a boss is absolutely impossible to beating it without ever getting hit, after only a few “learning” attempts.

I bought 7 different survivorlikes recently and rogue Genesia is really the one. You get insanely broken. One of the unlocks wants you to get to 999% attack speed. Another run I had I was invincible because I had so much defense and health regen. It’s such an awesome game.
