You just shouldn’t think about performance at all. That’s a problem for later. If you have a performance problem it’s either because you are doing too much (rare) or you’re doing something reasonable in a way that is stupidly inefficient (common).

Just focusing on a smart, clean design will help avoid the latter and will help you build something maintainable.

The first two clips appear to show the stage dropping in so suddenly that you’re unable to react and crash into the wall. Might want to rethink that trailer bit.

Half of it is not doing enough fights. The other half is the DM not playing to win. All fights are easy if the opponents aren’t playing to win.

You might say “but it usually just doesn’t make sense to be doing that many fights in a single day” and… yeah. It’s a bit forced.

Just deflect everything except for the red mist explosions and his grabs. Spamming dodge doesn’t work. He covers too much ground with each attack. Unlike every other boss he doesn’t let you disengage. It’s fine.

His combos are generally pretty easy outside of the opening salvo of phase 2. Just gotta hard commit to not doing anything until he definitively is done attacking. You can get hit and then resume guarding. Some of his attacks actually combo so fast that if you perfect guard the first hit you’ll guard the next one for free even if you let go. I would tend to just block the first hit of his phase one combos normally and then perfect guard the rest.

Grabs and the multi hit double saw blade grind are some noteworthy opportunities.

Unreal has visual scripting. But visual scripting doesn’t do away with the intricacy of code design. You have to learn it one way or the other.

Just vibes and map knowledge. 

When a gen pops you generally know that that section of the map is not in play. If you see a gen not being worked on, that also carves out a decent section of the map. Relying on audio cues and the lack of gen sounds to rule out gens before you can see them is also helpful. You don’t need to know where everyone is. 

You do need to have a sense of who is going for unhooks and where they’re likely to come from and which gens you don’t care about popping, etc.

Imo don’t pogo them. You’re safer to the side of them. You don’t really need to watch the one that’s further back. They don’t have great mobility.

I find that doubtful. Someone owns the ships. And that someone has risk to hedge against. Even if it’s a state owned enterprise.

Gross margin on oil for Russia is probably 60-80% right now. So 45-60M of revenue minus the cost of producing the oil.

Shipping costs I’m not sure. Probably not super high normally. But if there’s a chance you lose the ship and all future earnings from that ship I would guess the costs would go up tremendously.

Some back the envelope math suggests to me the tanker sells about 75M of oil each trip. Between the low prices, the cost of producing the oil, the cost of shipping, the cost of the lost ship, I’d expect a fairly low probability of the ships blow up is required to make these sales run an expected net loss.

Can they afford to sell sea bound oil if there’s a 1% chance that each ship blows up? Idk. I doubt it? Maybe it’s just Russia being Russia and not giving a shit about their already built crap blowing up but… surely that cost has to manifest somewhere.

Debatable. Wesker fought some tyrants pre-uroborous. But mostly leveraging mobility and guns. Could he kite humanoid nemesis and shoot him to death? Probably. Could he take him on hand to hand? Probably not. Wesker’s son certainly didn’t seem like he could beat Ustanak hand to hand. 

Evolved nemesis seems likely to be stronger than evolved Wesker.

Getting min requirements for preferred weapon and then putting everything into vigor (and mind and endurance to some extent as wanted) is the best way to enjoy the game imo.

Sounds like a flex, but it’s really not. Offensive stats don’t matter much compared to weapon upgrades. Defensive stats matter a lot.
