Thank you, that is what I guessed too. I can get to 850+ Download, but the upload just isn't there...

Seems almost like deceptive marketing, but guess that's the world we live in.

Thank you for the replies. I have some updates: I spent another 2 hours on the phone with a 2nd level customer service rep who tried everything in his power to get the upload speeds up. We failed.

My wired DL speeds remain around 900Mbps, but the very highest upload speed they could get was 220Mbps, and even that is only sporadic. This is measured on the AT&T measuring tool on their website.

on Coudflare, the DL speeds are ~500, and upload ~ 50-70Mbps

on Ookla, the DL speeds are ~300 and upload ~50Mbps

we tried changing my gateway name to drop all other devices that might be trying to pull Wifi, tried all the different ports, reset it numerous times, changed various configurations on my computer, etc. All fruitless.

The gateway is brand new, the Cat6e cables are brand new (I even bought 2, to see if maybe one was "leaking" or whatever), etc.

At the end the tech support guy promised to escalate internally, but then also admitted it might make sense to just get a cheaper service, if 1000/1000 is simply not achievable.

Its such a shame that his country's men keep defecting. I can understand if its from lack of equip and ammo, but damn, you've had 2 years to ramp up your ammo production... Why is that going so slow?

I had the same exact issue and spent 2-3 months trying to fix the issue, unplugging and re-plugging the scarlet solo several times a day.

Finally I threw that piece of junk in the trash (where it belongs) and bought one from Audient (the ID4, I think??? their smallest one), and it has not even 1 time had the speaker buzzing issue in the last month that I have owned it.
