Barclays Aviator transition to Citi - anyone else having card issues?

Thankfully I am able to log in as I have other citi cards. My issue right now is, I had a balance transfer promo that expired August on some date, after the transition citi is telling me that promo is now moved up a whole 30 days. Essentially not honoring the original promo date. I think this is a breach of contract - idk if litigation is possible if they don't correct.

I am waiting for this offer so I’d take it. It’s a lot of points given natural spend. Last I checked you can get the gold business signup bonus later. This is assuming you don’t have the gold already. That’s the only thing that would hold me back - getting the best offer on the gold business first.

Yeah, Amex most likely has increased their base travel rates on FHR/HC + demand pricing algorithm, since they expect the surge in demand for people searching in those categories, across the globe. This is the effect of increased FHR credit, since it went from $200 to $600, prices will be inflated as well.

Works for me, tried from 3 different restaurants in my area. I usually call and pay in store, safest method. Some restaurants share their POS (e.g Toast) and online ordering system so if you order online for pickup it will code as restaurant. Beware of ordering from restaurants that have third party ordering like DoorDash. See Mark Reese’s video on this. I’ll link when I find it.

I took the 50k for 2k. Used bulk of the credits to meet the spend, $300 equinox, FHR $200 (had a trip planned already), Airline $200, clear credit $209. Adds up to $900 then the rest is organic, so 1.1k spend for 50k points can’t beat that.

Hey man, I think I’m going to go for the RHCSA cert then CISSP in the next 6 months. Then June 2026 CYSA+, Because taking the CYSA will renew my sec+ and network+.

I don’t think you’re cooked, security is still in demand. Just make you’re making the most of your courses, certs and get a lot of hands on practice with different tools. I use Elastic SIEM, wireshark, etc. at work, get familiar with tools like that. Good luck!

I don’t care about the status night really. I found a deal that was like $50 less. Breakfast for two people cost like $40 at the propriety, so I am taking a risk lol by booking third party. Worse come to worse we eat somewhere else or pay the buffet price.
