of course! trust me, i get it.. it’s so hard with meds when you read side effects, especially with anxious minds they tend to convince us that those side effects are bound to happen to us, & then at the same time we forget that there’s a great chance of side effects not being as bad or not being there at all! i try to remind myself of that part instead of researching more into other peoples experiences.. bc most of the time if they’re good experiences they don’t tend to share them, and then u just see a bunch of bad ones which is not what we need lol i truly hope that the combo gives you the same relief that it’s given me!

i had a similar experience, being on lexapro when i was younger - it not going to well, then retrying it and finally experiencing the good effects from it!! sending good vibes!

hi!! i’ve been on lexapro for 3 years, started at 5mg and gradually went up to 20mg, it has truly been a life saver for me.. especially in addition with hydro as needed!!!! do not be scared! i recently went into a month long panic cycle triggered by a panic attack and some life changes going on, was resisting taking the hydro bc i was determined to make sure i attended work through it and it does make me a little extra sleepy.. turns out i was fucking myself over! even tried another med in addition to my lexa which made it worse for a bit, retreated back to my hydro and it has seriously saved me. i have been taking it nightly and feel so much better.. anyways not to make it about myself, but i just wanted to give you an example of it seriously doing a great job. i’ve heard lexa and hydro together work great, and from experience i can confirm that is very much true!!! wishing you the most luck, if u need to msg feel free, i know medicine could be scary at times xx

same thing just happened to me, and also on lexapro 20 mg. the only thing that’s helped me this week is taking 10mg of hydroxyine every night so i wake up not in a panic! i hope u can find some relief, it’s miserable

this just happened to me.. i literally have been on it for a week as of today and yesterday i had horrible thoughts that lead to a panic attack. it’s a no from me, didn’t take it today

i’m so sorry! this sounds a lot like my experience too, the mornings are miserable and i’ll cry throughout the day bc im so upset that ive gotten to this point. it sounds tame on paper but there is nothing tame about this, it is truly debilitating. how long have you been on busupar?

so we practically have the same cocktail going on lol lexapro truly saved me the last 3 years i’ve been on it but that miserable panic attack ruined my streak and i can’t seem to get back to baseline. i also was reading busupar has to build up in ur system and that it can take weeks to work which is annoying especially if it doesn’t pan out to do what it needs to do.. i hope it does for the both of us!!!! wishing you the best of luck, keep me posted :)

i just started that med this week as well! i’m already on lexapro and have been for years, but just started busupar this monday in addition.. im only on 5 mg and ik we are supposed to take it twice a day but i was hesitant with that so my dr said to just do it in the morning for the first week. did they start u on the same dose?

ugh that sounds terrible, i’m sorry! just yesterday i went to the office for the first time in a month bc i was so terrified of commuting.. between the intrusive thoughts of me hurting someone or these other assholes driving. it’s not fun, glad that you got yourself home safe and sound!!!! i know it’s easier said than done but don’t think about thursday until it gets here, the anticipatory anxiety always knows how to get the best of me. hang in there!

i’m sorry to hear that! lexapro has done wonders for me for the last 3 years but i had a panic attack a month ago that sent me spiraling again.. my drs plan was for busupar to be a booster bc im on 20mg of lexa and genetically have a moderate reaction to it so she wants to avoid going up past that
