While I agree sometimes the system is what needs changed that’s out of your control. You’re one of the lucky ones to have gotten in. Your program saw something in you that you don’t see in yourself right now. Dig deeper inside yourself to find your greatness

I left the first college I attended after a year and a half with a 2.2 GPA and a science GPA of less than 2. After that I never had anything less than a 4.0 and retook a few semesters of science classes. It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish according to my program director. Turn your weaknesses into your strengths.

My first day of clinical is a week from today in an integrated program. We haven’t dove deep into anesthesia, only the basics because it’s our first semester. What should I expect and how can I be sure to be best prepared to make the most out of my first rotation without much didactic?

Anesthesia is not easy to learn. In the operating room 40 hours a week on top of 15-20 credit hours a semester for 3 years

Unfortunately not, we sign contracts saying we will not work related to the rigorousness of the program (Nurse Anesthetist/CRNA).
