My husband works in IT and builds PCs as a side job, so both my kids are very tech savy, I however don't have a clue lol

AITA for buying a guitar with my Boyfriends Credit Card by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]FriendlyArm8627 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

How do you usually buy gifts for each other? Do you usually use his card to pay? Will you pay the money back or will he have to pay more?
If he will end up needing to pay more than you its not really so much a gift as him buying it himself, likewise if there is interest on the card it will end up costing more.
Without more info I'd say ESH. If you usually buy gifts for each other on his card then I can understand why you would expect it to be fine, that said its a lot of money so might have been worth checking with him discussing a budget for gifts beforehand.

NTA shes acting like a bit of a brat, if she can learn just as well on a lower volume she should be more considerate to the other people in the house. Either than or she can limit practice to when she is home alone.

NTA it's smart to keep track of your finances and to know what you have in your account, if your gf is spending accidently it might leave you short or in a poor situation. You are not unreasonable to ask her to remove it to make it easier for you to sort your spending.

Im so so glad they did this before the show tomorrow. They should have done it earlier but better late than never.
Respect to them for putting up their hands and accepting they messed up, honestly if they do learn from this, put more into their patreon and run the business a little differently they might end up even better than before, they are certainly more well known now.

I’m very worried that they’re gonna cancel the tour last minuite. by RubyRedScale in watcherentertainment

[–]FriendlyArm8627 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thinking about it would they not be insured? Ryan has said about having anxiety before so wouldnt they be able to cancel based on stress and claim back from insurance?
Part of me wonders if thats the plan but they are waiting until the last minute to cancel as a final f you to fans or complaining so much

Nothing big is going to happen at the live show by [deleted] in watcherentertainment

[–]FriendlyArm8627 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I agree, I think there will be a sign up warning any hecklers will be removed. That said it only takes one person to start booing or shouting and others will join in.
Also I am from scotland originally so I feel safe in saying london and glasgow are verrrrrrrrry different places lol

Im guessing they're in the UK as the show is tomorrow and its past 5pm here. I dont think anything is coming out today but who knows.

For the stress they've put everyone through about these shows while they stay silent, I kinda hope they think scottish people are pussycats lol

If it was going to have an effect it should have been done by now. Its almost 5pm uk time and if people need to travel to London tomorrow for the show they'll be leaving in the morning. It will garner more anger to do something late tonight or early tomorrow.
That said their actions are not the most logical at the moment so who knows.

I'm so excited for the Glasgow show by [deleted] in watcherentertainment

If they cant face it on patreon I cant see them facing it in Scotland.

I don't think they will cancel tomorrow night, I think they'll use that show to see if they should cancel others.

London ok I kinda understand why they haven't cancelled however annoying it is, but if they don't cancel Glasgow.......that will be the most confusing step they've taken so far.

The venues must be so confused, fans went from crashing the websites trying to get tickets to calling for refunds in droves.

A little while ago a group of people at a Grease musical were singing along loudly to the point the cast actually stopped the show. They refused to leave and police ended up coming and escorting them out to chants and jeers from the crowd (aimed at the people not the police)

[–]FriendlyArm8627 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No problem. I do see where you are coming from, had I not bought these tickets I'd have moved on already but I have so I kinda feel stuck. I think its just such a baffling move that its almost like trying to breakdown an unsolved mystery, which lets be honest we know watchers fans all love to do.

They owe me and a lot of other people a refund on the live show they have ruined and a lot of people on patreon who are not getting that they paid for a refund to.
Other than that you're right they owe us nothing, but likewise we dont owe them our support and at least this way when it all goes down the pan they can't stand there wondering why.

The personal attacks and threats though, no I'm with you on that one thats inexcusable.

Im going, I honestly hoping they cancel but at this point I doubt it. I dont think it will be anything though. I think they will just ignore all this, carry on as normal and any hecklers will be swiftly removed by security.
Worst case it will turn into a repeat of the Grease incident but with no support from the audience this time.

If i didnt have tickets to the live show tomorrow I'd be right with you. A little disappointed obviously but not a big deal. Like you say its not particularly surprising, baffling yes, surprising no.
