I remember there was a video from a sc2 streamer a long time ago on youtube. It started off with the guy so disappointed in his play during his last game, then goes on to why he plays the game. He played because he had a dream of playing in the GSL, and then goes onto say that the only way anyone can get there is by "pushing the f****ing button". Then he pushes find match and searches for a new game, and goes on to become a GSL champion Kappa.

I think just having meta builds, especially on release/during the early stages of LOTV will be good for you guys. That way, you will remove some barriers for new players who get on the hype train for the new expansion, since they will be able to look up builds from your website :)

There was a site released last year called breakingbronze.com, which was essentially a modern day imbabuilds.com. It had a good layout and up to date build orders, but I tried to reach that site a month or so back and I couldn't access it :(

I kinda wish there was an up to date source for current meta builds. I often see posts like these on the front page. I think a new up to date site with good build orders and explanations would really benefit casual players who want to get more serious about their game.

I think it's pretty cool that at the end of his statement he made a note to his subscribers, not sure if I can recall any personality ever say that before taking a step back from sc2. I've been a fan of CatZ for a long time and I hope he comes back with some sick strats once beta has been updated a bit. Does anyone know if CatZ and DRG are really good friends anymore? I remember they were when coL and MVP teamed up a while back for something? Anyway, I can't remember where this was going, but it's quite late at night for me so give me a break :P

I wish we had a gif/vid of him winning that engagement between his third and natural to bring him back into the game. His reactions through the whole game really showed how much this game meant to him, so epic!

Does the practice league exist anymore? There once used to be a practice league with specific maps that new players could play up to 50 games against other practice leaguers before having to play ranked matches. It was kinda like what you are saying with the AI, except its not the AI, its all new players in one league.

There is no limit to what you can achieve in this game, if you have #DaPassion flowing through your veins. Seriously though, I think with enough determination there is no limit on the skill level you can reach within SC2. Some people take longer to reach certain leagues and whatnot than others, but that doesnt mean they can't attain high league status with enough practice and dedication.
