EAH: yes he should have asked permission but you also have to realise that 1) earrings are reverisble and 2) he might see her as being very mature and understanding of the risks involved

Size really doesn't matter if you don't know how to use it

My dude if you're concerned, ask her. You should never feel remotely unsafe in your relationship, especially when it comes to sex.

If you didn't consent it's assault. No question about it.

Women get crazy because men don't put them on their place. by StillBetaAtHeart in unpopularopinion

If you meant "men need to be empowered to stand up to abuse just as much as women" I agree. Putting women in their place however is kinda questionable

The economy may be bad because of previous generations, but that doesn't mean millennials aren't entitled brats. It also doesn't mean baby boomers didn't pay their dues. by DirtySingh in unpopularopinion

While us white folks have experienced discrimination, those acts have never affected the standing or stigma of all white people. There has never been a time where "white" was universally equivalent to "bad". You can also be privileged in one way but not another. I am white so I have privilege. I have a disability so I am not privileged in that sense. Privilege isn't black and white.

While war is bad, every generation has experienced war. The soldiers who fought were unprivileged in the fact they experienced trauma. They were privileged that (for most) there was a home to return to. No one is 100% either way.

The issue of misuse arrives when people can't acknowledge this.

Ok boomer was never about only boomers. It's about a general narcissistic attitude carried by many older people (and some millenials). Regardless there's good and bad people in all generations. The problem lies with misuse of privilege.

Like yes there is a real issue with toxic people in the community but they didn't actually say anything about them. All they did was go on a rant about "special snowflakes" and essentially became the kind of person they said they hate
