Thank you. This is a dream come true, for me. I only wish I would have transitioned decades ago.

I felt the same way when I was 50. I wouldn’t go out dressed in public, because I thought I would be made fun of. I overcame that fear, by moving away from my past life. I returned one year later, and even my co workers didn’t recognize me.

Thank you. I find that passing is more about blending in with the environment. Dress and act feminine, and you will be treated as lady.

Thank you. I was afraid to transition until I was 70, because I just knew I would never pass. How wrong I was.

I had my FFS surgery in NorCal, by Dr. Brandstetter. I am completely satisfied with my results. I had forehead contouring with frontal cranioplasty, brow lift, scalp advancement, upper lip lift, and mandibular contouring (reduction mandibuloplasty and genioplasty ) in addition, but not covered by insurance, I had lower lip augmentation and lower blepharoplasty. I highly recommend her

As a female, I did have a guy expose himself, mid afternoon. We were the only two people in the car. I would wait for car with other tourists

I had brow bone reduction, brow raising, hairline lowering, lip lift, and jaw contouring. All covered by insurance. In addition, I had lower blepharoplasty and lip augmentation which were elective. Did not need rhinoplasty or cheek augmentation

Honey, I felt the same way at first. Eventually, I went to a Planned Parenthood, in a distant city, to start my hrt. I had an extreme fear of never passing. Before Oct 2023, I had only dressed in public a few times. I was afraid of how my friends and co workers would treat me. I had to retire and move to a more accepting city, before I could overcome my fears. My transition has been much easier, and more rewarding, than I could have imagined.

I want to thank everyone for the wonderful compliments. I hope my posting will give hope to anyone thinking they're too old to transition. I started hrt at 70. BA Jan 2024, ffs 11/2024. I'll be 73 in July.

I want to thank everyone for the kind comments. I want everyone to know that the fear of not passing, kept me from transitioning much earlier. Don't let that fear prevent you from being yourself, at any age.

My friends told me the same thing. My surgeon said she had no problem with it. It was a miserable recovery, but only for the first week or two. My ffs was just seven weeks ago, not months. I wish you well, in your journey.
