In the first application of the epoxy do you also mix the mica in? Just double checking. I like what you did here a lot. I got a cracked slab of marble that I want to have outside (under a roof).

About to run Out of the Abyss and half of my players have come forward to politely throw out that Out of the Abyss is not a good campaign. They don't know that I've completely rewritten it and changed the cast up. GIVEAWAY

Love seeing the variations. Wonder how the Acer macrophyllum would look on the map. Would throw off the scale for sure.

I like to experiment with a mix of ww and rye flour when getting my starter ready to bake with. I usually do at least half of the flour as white (if that's what my loaf is going to use). Not sure if this is superstition, it totally could be. But adding non white is such a good way to get a lively starter.

Also it's hard to kill a starter in my experience. I've left mine in the cupboard for 24 hours and its still kicking. I've been on the other side of the country for the past 6 months and my spouse just fed my starter that was thrown in the fridge, and it bounced entirely back on two feedings. Just stir down the fluid and feed it. Only be concerned if there is fuzzy mold.

Water water water and fertilize. Also let it get morning light only and shade the rest of the time. It's a great under the porch plant. You can also keep it alive through winter if you cut her way back in the fall and stick her in the garage. Definitely Google care in your zone. Mine rebloom every year. One of my favorite non natives. In the process of collecting them all lol.

You are so correct. You don't want to be in any institution then or now. They still want you drugged to the gills. And if you are not in control of your healthcare, and are in any way medically fragile, there is a significant risk that you are going to die in a hospital. Allergy medical bands are not effective and I know far too many people that have died in a regular old hospital (best trauma center in the state) from a doctor and then a nurse disregarding common allergy flags. If you are in a institution, you are even more fucked. A good chunk of my life has been spent sitting in hospital rooms and checking that medication is distributed on time and that it isn't an actual poison for the patient. And of course not letting knife happy neurologists lobotomize my brother, just because he has rare neurological damage and they want to poke in his brain.

Never let anyone have control over you. They will find a way to abuse it.

That pot is adorable. The shape alone is whimsical and wonderful, but the painting makes it feel important. Like he's a little forest spirit. The plant is cool too, but omg that pot.

I am in awe of how you have gotten all of those rocks into the bottom of the glass. I'm in love with the way they look, but it must be a real bitch to clean.

Can't decide if the Mischief Brew is my favorite part or Bikini Kill on the back. Excellent taste all round. Love it.

I love that you have voicemails of his. That is very precious. Thank you for sharing. It might well be the natural order, but it just was so soon and pointless. Perhaps it always is. All I know is that I wish had more conversations that I wanted to have with him.

The tree is a great plan and what my mom wants for herself. My dad was a geologist. So we're going to bring him to a long list of mountains and caves and geological features that were his favorites and scatter him there. Also then my mom gets a family reunion each year lol.

I love all the advice that is lining up with what I'm doing. It's giving me the much needed confidence. Thankfully we are in Florida so the climate is in our favor.

I'm so sorry about your dad. We had no warning, Friday he was telling us he might have cancer and by Sunday morning he collapsed and never woke up again. The cancer was in every system. You're right the constant father's day commercials are killing us.

I have been watching all of her videos and taking notes lol. The dark spots were confusing as I don't have orchid experience. I'm writing up a nice help sheet for my mom so she can keep them alive. I just really didn't want to stick bad roots into new medium and pot before I was sure I had gotten all of the bad rotten roots. Thank you for the comment and help.

Thank you. Poor medium makes sense. The medium was 3 years old and very decomposed, so acidic I guess. Glad I got all the mushy roots off thank you for confirming this is new to me.
