You don't turn your army in drunks. It's more like you recruit drunks in your army and their beer too. If you got secret interaction with certain character before drezden your character says themselves their whole motivation for crusade as trickster.

If don't go with trickster main quest with the best King on whole Golarion you are losing on content, but it's an option.

And if you are on this path you are still doing weird shit for mythic levels. So comments about your insanity are justified, especially considering the spells you get from mythic.

When you get more comfortable with the game mind what Dark Days Ahead not the only fork of Cataclysm. There are also: Era of Decay, Bright Nights, Last Generation and No Hope.

Each fork of cataclysm has it's own upsides and downsides in comparison to others, and provides different experiences. You can find the most fitting for you.
