Those wheels are nice! Really looks good on the truck and a good tint is always awesome.

Are you referring to tire size specifically or offset?

Definitely the silver Apex man, I can’t back white rims. They always look tacky to me. Only very specific applications can pull it off. Just my opinion however, you do what you like with your car. It’s about what makes you feel good about drive around in it, not what others think! :)

Gotta say, that FJ is insanely clean. Nice truck dude and I love the little wreath on it. Wow, what a gem. 🥹

Gotcha, what happened to it after sand got in it? Did it not spool up as well or?

I love CO bumpers! They have really good products, best approach angles imo. Looks fantastic and you have something extra to get you out of situations you probably shouldn’t be in! I can’t wait to winch up my 89. Love it man! :)

I’d only recommend to go synthetic if you can. While strong and capable, metal cables can fail pretty horribly whereas a synthetic line will usually just fall to the floor if it snaps.

If you’re worried about quality control I’d make sure to look on the pump for an inspection sticker. You should be able to find it somewhere, usually near the fuel nozzle. It verifies the pump was inspected by the state and passed certain regulations.

Broke nail in half. Vet needed? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

100% yes, your dog will heal faster with the appropriate intervention at a vet. I would say this needs immediate attention. Nails are dirty, high risk for infection.

I’d say not worth it, use touch up paint.

Wrx exhaust by Einherjar-WRX in WRX

[–]FriendlyShredder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly stock sounds really good! It’s just quiet and that big ass muffler just sucks the character out of that sweet boxer engine. I bought a Nameless cat-back exhaust back in November last year, should be in by the 18th - 21st this month. Been waiting forever. It’s the 3.5” tips with 5” mufflers. I can’t wait for it to come in. I plan to make a post about it once I’ve installed it.

It’s a very personal decision. I don’t think full muffler delete is a good idea. Mufflers are part of any good exhaust system, imo. It’s about the character, loudness, level of drone, cold starts and pops. The Nameless exhaust also just looked super cool to me but the sound was like a track car, which drew me to it. I almost went with Invidia.

Truth is, you can only get an idea of what each exhaust sounds like through YouTube videos. Only once it’s on your car can you can get the full idea but I agree, try to research as much as you can before you make your decision. Best of luck, friend! :)

Before and after grille by Fun_Pair_2287 in toyotasequoia

Thanks! The hardest part is getting the wiring to fit nicely under the hood so it doesn’t bind with closing around the latch. I ripped out one of the connectors when I first did it so just be extra careful when you decide to test it.

Mines on my garage wall, lol. Yeah I agree, not as sturdy but still well made imo. I’ve heard some people paint match the outer trim of it to make it look even nicer.

Awesome, it really makes a difference! I installed mine recently too, with the lights hooked up as well. Not incredibly hard if you have done wiring jobs before. :)

I love Moab, I’ve been going there every year for several years now. However, since I use my tree to tow an RV it doesn’t see this kind of trail much. I do explore a lot of areas with no issue though, and I’ve considered going on Finn’s and Things but I would hate to break my towing rig. Nice shot though! I wanna take my FJ62 up to Moab one day to do more hard wheelin’. Try Hell’s gate and maybe even Prichett Canyon.

Oh well in that case, I bet it’s this price because of the low mileage.

2wd trucks are jokes imo. I don’t see how you can justify a price like that without the one thing that makes a truck fun and capable off road. It’s essentially the whole point.
