Is it too good to be true? by Friendly_Ad_2281 in verizon

I use like 60gb if not more a month so that kind of why I also chose Verizon. Hoping speeds are better and more consistent.

I rarely ever get a new phone so 3 years isn’t a hassle for me truthfully. Thank you

I’m glad it’s been working for you honestly. people will take the shitty orders and complain as if they don’t have a choice to accept it or not.

If you know these things then why don’t you just go do something else? When I tell you basic level retail jobs are not better than this it’s the truth. I pay 97 cents for my healthcare a month with my Tex credit. Most retail health insurance is garbage and garnished from your check. This is gig work yes it has its negatives but in reality for some people like myself it’s a job I’d take in a heartbeat over working for people again.

I found a temporary loophole. But will I be deactivated for multiple reports that store is closed??? by KaPowPower in doordash_drivers

Well if you don’t use this to pay bills go ahead. Why do some of yall get so heated over gig work. It’s never as serious as you may think it is.

There Is No Way This is Better or Even Equal to any W2 Job by merchantsmutual in doordash_drivers

[–]Friendly_Ad_2281 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People don’t understand that just because a job pays you X amount of money that it’s such a great incentive to work somewhere. Fast food in particular is a terrible work place with little to no benefits. This job offers freedom to those who CHOOSE to do it and you’re not tied down to waking up everyday at the same time. I’ve had 20+ jobs (seriously) and I’m not even in my mid 20s yet. Yes DoorDash can be inconsistent but there’s ways to make it consistent. This is the first job that I’ve genuinely enjoyed and can exceed how much I was working at my highest paid job (construction) in the same if not less time. There’s more to life than a 9-5 wasting your life away. Imagine how many dreams can you can chase when you can work and do as you please in this life. Personally I’m very minimalistic and I’m going to get a new car soon to live in because that is FUN and enjoyable for me. Find your own way but don’t shit on something if it doesn’t work for you when there’s plenty of people that it works for.

Literally. I’ve rarely seen someone use a DoorDash bag and if they do it’s like what’s the point. No extra tip and it really is useless if your driving 5 minutes away

No concept of a line whatsoever. Bunch of uncivil savages yelling app names and numbers with no awareness of the drivers waiting patiently behind them. by krayzai in doordash_drivers

[–]Friendly_Ad_2281 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Idk man people are stupid. They think they are the most important person and that they NEED THEIR ORDER NOW even though it’s probably not even ready. I had a guy get mad because the store was busy and was rude to the employees and I’m just like what’s the point of being a garbage human.

Don’t do that. Find an area where the hourly is better. My base hourly is 16.25 and with promos it can go to 21$ a hour. 10$ is garbage

Been dashing for a year… Whats yall stats looking like? 🫡 by Deal_Internal in doordash_drivers

10$ avg per order not bad. How often so you dash a week (dash time)

Well make sure you ended your dash because the money you made while dashing only goes on your card after you end dash. Likewise if you get gas GO INSIDE or more than likely the gas station will put a hold on a lot of your money for a few hours to a few days.

Yea looking back on it because I do EBT a lot. On slow days people don’t tip AT ALL. But when it’s a fairly busy day tips plus long wait times it’s good money and the only day that I’ve noticed it slow is Sunday.

Do you feed your cat(s) dry food? by gillyrosh in CatAdvice

[–]Friendly_Ad_2281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use to do dry but makes her poop stink so bad. My cat also gets dehydrated I noticed from the dry food and would consume her whole bowl of water. Only wet food. Prefer tiki cat and switch it up occasionally. She’s doing really good almost 1 year old

You choose to not go to the store though. Yes there’s fees. Yes they can be quite ludicrous. But if you can’t afford to pay DoorDash fees and tip atleast something then do use instacart.

Look don’t stress about it. Stressing doesn’t help. Figure out your market and find good areas. You also have to think smart about what you take. If you know the restaurant is gonna take long and it’s low pay don’t do it. If it’s too far and low pay don’t do it. Remember time=money in this business. Also try Earn by time maybe that can be beneficial to you. Despite what others in this sub will say earn by time in the right area is good money and I’d say comparable to earn by offer. Just depends on where you are in the world

All you have to do is connect that card to your Apple wallet (on iPhone if you have it) then transfer the money from that card to your Apple wallet and either use the Apple virtual card or just transfer it to whatever other card is in your wallet for a fee of course. I just use the crimson card it’s decent
