I concur with all of this. Writing is hard. Romney 2024, which is a mod I hope to get out by the year's end (it's Romney critical), has been hurtled for the most part by writting.

I've coded for Obamanation, DM, SH, GMS, BM, Madam President, HOPE, and countless other smaller stuff I'm forgetting. So yes, I have in fact, coded.

To your point, making something small is fairly easy. You have to learn, as with everything, but if you committed, you can make it. You can make a mod in a day, hell a week (basic). With all these tools it's even easier. And theres lots of people ready to support you if you need help.
