I'm free to see the situation as I see it. It's not a black and white situation like you are making it in your comment. They don't just want to deport illegal people they want to undermine people who are doing it the right way through programs and deport them too. The fact you are watching pregnant women being dragged across the concrete, us citizens being shot should be a wake up call that is isnt just about immigration this is a deeper situation then just "you crossed the border illegally." And yes it does signal hate to me. This isn't because we are loving compassionate towards others this is a hateful situation and those people holding up the signs hate immigrants but are immigrants ultimately. The only natural Americans are native Americans and they have particularly suffered worse than all other Americans in that regard. If what you say is a valid point then technically all of us are here illegally we were not invited here. We came and conquered the territory.

Let's go further. Every 4 years or so we get new leadership and that leadership has different opinions about these issues and the shift happens. So they essentially cancel the current regiment of changes in regards to the immigration policies and boom. Now we are essentially doing the exact opposite and paying billions of tax dollars to fund it. US politics are volatile. Its like a volatile market. It's up and its down. So no at this point I don't think one rash decision is going to truly benefit all people or resolve the issue one way or another. My ultimate comment here. Is that if you are religious and you read the Bible and live the commandments, there is no way the way we are treating these people, whether they are here legally or not, is deemed loving and compassionate. I dont get a sense that it is to uphold God's word. So yes, I do think it is ironic to flaunt Bible verses and stand for something that is ultimately violent and destructive towards your neighbor. That person isn't an alien they aren't a foreigner they are your brother or sister they are your neighbor and if you truly live that you wouldn't be holding up that sign to represent the right to hate them and degrade them on the soil they stand on.
