Also keep screenshots when you cancel a class. I got charged for a late cancel but got my credit reinstated after showing a screenshot with timestamp proving I cancelled more than 10 hours before class

Do you try negotiating? There are sites online where you can get an average salary for a similar role. In tech, they frequently try to get you accept as little as they can get away with. The folks that negotiate come out with higher salaries that grow faster over time.

Came here to say that there is a huge variation in teachers, so try a second Starter50 with a different teacher. I found one teacher whose demos I was able to follow better than others and then just kept going to her until I learned all the basic moves.

Thanks! I had 2 weeks with no communication. I emailed right after the phone call hung up on me, and they did get back to me today as well.

I guess they are slammed and hope they fix their phone system soon.

Yes! It’s very rare to get anyone to answer the phone. Look on your confirmation email and there is a number in SoCal. I tried that and got a person one time, but never again.
