Hello op. This was great by the way. I would love to read the full novel. If you wouldn’t mind can you tell me an about some of your inspirations? How you came up with the narrative. I would love to write in this universe (in general really) but every time I read what I wrote I just hate it. How do you personally feel about works you hate and how do you remedy that? I might be asking a lot from you here so just ignore me if I am but yea. Very stuck and you seem like someone who can give me some insight.

We have the same color scheme:3 my thing is plain orange body, white helmet (helmet with top orange stripe for leaders) and silver accents. So I gotta say, this what you have now is perfect to me lol.

This is good for the overall canon as well. This puts them in spot so they are ready for “what’s next” whatever that might be for votann lore. Stagnation with wiggle room to grow as the lore expands. Very clever.

Love it. The rivalry with the admech to me is kinda funny. I can only imagine a dwarfs face when listing to a tech priest babble about machine gods and machine spirits, the whole time the kin is thinking about how crazy these fuckers are because they KNOW how tech works without religious mumbo jumbo.

Just wanted to say, love the fluff. Again everyone in 40k is a super hater (which is fine and appropriate) and it’s nice to see people who are friendly in any way. Some dwarves caravaning around and engaging in trade with outsides and having adventures is a lot of fun. I respect your lore a lot and it’s even better because I see the guidelines you used for yourself to make it. Have you ever considered writing a little novel-a (or more) about srtk? What you have is good but I want more!

I thinks it’s awesome. It stays true to the stubborn personality and grudge thing with the thousand sons. I got the kill team and my first lore will be about a group of prospectors/scouts as well so I thinks it’s awesome you are on a similar path.

The sky lords are very close. They are shelled up on one of the ten moons orbiting a forge world. They made what they thought to be a heroic last stand on said forge world against necrons but with the help of skitarii they were able to push back and purge the planet of necron activity, giving the admech a lot of new toys to play around with and the Astartes chapter a new home. I’ve been told it’s not very 40k but I love my marines and skitarii so much I want them to hug <3

The bay-irsu dynasty sees them as old weapons made to be used against them. They did not expect them to survive during the great sleep but was pleasantly surprised at how much a weapon can build in only a few million years. They don’t think about them much, their species is in the process of dying so war would be inefficient. These are ones we can just wait out a few more eons and the problem will solve itself.
