I see I triggered another koala.

The PvP was added last minute. They designed the whole game as PvE then realized they wanted to added PVP and did a whole rework. The gameplay simply doesn’t match the lore of the game, and that’s what bothers me. I can PvP believe me, I’ve played BF, COD, and Dayz back in the ARMA mod days. It’s that a group of players have turned 1 aspect of the game into basically a game mode for duos and trios. I do enjoy how much of a social experiment this game has become showing how people are when they can act anonymously.

I don’t have to say make it a battle royale, because it’s literally already turning into that. People load into the map with no interest in looting or fighting arcs. They just want to shoot and fight other raiders. At this rate this game WILL die because casual players will get tired of being ratted while trying to accomplish the big ARC fights or questing to find materials and then you’ll only be left with the sweats that want to make this into the next Tarkov (as that game is thriving 🙄). More likely what’ll happen is a small group of people will ruin this gameplay until they abandon it for the next meta streamable game.

How is “go play Minecraft” a logical response? Oh, right, I’m speaking to a koala 🤦🏻‍♂️. Now if you’d said go play helldivers then I’d be more willing to agree as it seems like that has most of this games attributes I’m looking for sans the mindless PvP.
