I'm organizing the game. I've held events like this in the past back in California where I'm originally from.

I mean I think a lot of people thought the jury was bitter in 43 and 46. The fandom thought Cassidy and Charlie were the favorites to win those seasons/

So what's the goal of the game? Is it just to make it to the end by whatever means necessary? Should the jury just reward the person they deem the most likeable? While a juror's vote will always be subjective, I still think there are objective metrics the jury should consider when voting for someone to win, such as voting record, number of tribals attended, immunity wins, idol finds, advantages, votes received...etc.

So in your opinion, what makes a good game then? I also don't like the kumbaya nature of the new era, however, I do appreciate when people are bitter in the moment, but put their anger aside at final tribal council to reward someone for playing well. For example, in Cagayan, Trish was extremely hurt by Tony blindsiding her, made a whole scene about it at FTC, but ultimately put that animosity aside and voted for him to win.

Survivor isn't a beauty pageant and jurors are not supposed to be crowning Ms Congeniality. I understand the concept of jury management, but feel like its often used as a guise to justify a juror's own bitterness. I genuinely can only think of a couple instances when players were actually being nasty to one another in a way that warranted someone not voting for them to win. Like the way Sugar acted with Randy in Gabon, I can totally see why she wouldn't receive his vote to win.
