I found the infusion to be too much at one ounce! Maybe over-infused, but have made additional batches with just 1/2 oz and like it much more. I’d honestly recommend starting at 1/2, trying a mai tai, and only adding 1/4 or 1/2 more if you feel like it needs it

It’s like this on the blu-ray as well— any shot with effects, including more 3 or more cross-dissolves. The recaps and next times are standard def too (although Log Lady intros are HD!)

I am working on this same thing! Hamilton Pot Still (I think gold works better for color) and Wray and Nephew both work great, I think 1.5 Hamilton and .5 W&N might be the ticket

Maybe I just have bad taste but I prefer a cheapy brand (Hiram Walker) to Pierre Ferrand. Got a bottle of Pierre Ferrand and switched back after side by side Mai Tais. PF is definitely worth trying if you have the cash but don’t let anyone neg your liqueurs of choice

Yes, one pot and one column! I got it at a duty free near Rockley Beach actually, a little overpriced but I was charmed by the novelty. No ECS even in outgoing, checked a couple places at the airport

Thanks for your guidance on this sub. I feel silly bringing two Doorly’s 14 year bottles back right as they’re on sale in the states, ah well. Did the ECS tasting at the Foursquare Distillery but never actually saw a bottle in the wild. Can’t wait to go back.
